The paper is not very thick so I am not sure exactly how well it can protect the screen and it is not very sheer but with that said, it feels amazing and any protection to the screen is still good! This definitely feels nice to draw in rather than something thicker and bulkier. Would recommendRead more

I got through writing this review and had installed one of the protectors and then went to take some photos of the other protector with the tabs and oh no! It’s not only missing one of the tabs, it’s missing the protective coating and the paper texture is exposed on one of the screens. So that’s lame! the tabs are labeled 1 red back, the side that goes down on your ipad screen and the 2 black front is the textured surface. My second protector has a red tab only. Arg. It will be okay but I want a first quality product and experience. These need to be quality controlled and if they are flawed, list them as factory seconds and give a reason why. That’d be better. Amazon isn’t a clearing house. Right? We want to be happy after we take time to shop and find what we think is the best buy. I just removed 2 stars from a 5 to a 3 for that. Sadly. It’s still a good product but this should be corrected. If they even read these reviews, which they should certainly if they hope to sell on amazon. I know that the customers read the reviews. The rest of the original review and enthusiasm follows. I’m so impressed with these screen protectors in general and this brand is good. The product is as advertised and the photos are okay. You get two for the price of one, and this includes fast shipping. The product says Paperlike, not Paperfeel, so I am a bit confused between this ad and the product I received. I’ve heard great things about paperlike, the brand, and I was happy with my smooth, regular, tough, protector but was interested in seeing if drawing felt better with the paper texture. This is very nice as a complete product. The packaging, the condition of all of the things that are included and the instructions are good. I’m a bit experienced with removing and applying these protectors now so I am not that worried about the instructions, but they are simple and they work. If you are new to this be sure to watch a few youtube videos so you don’t waste a screen through practice. I have not used the brand paperlike, but this is probably pretty close. There are protective covers on both sides of the product making it easy to have a perfectly flawless application free of dust, finger prints and scratches. Both of the tabs are in good condition for an easy application process. The card included for smoothing the protector to the base screen, is good. You’ll note by watch videos on the easiest way to do this, that you curve and sort of roll apply rather than putting it straight down, that way you lightly smooth as you apply, rolling it down until it is completely connected. You work along and remove the air pockets as you go rather than liberating a bubbles from the center area. The application is made more easy because this product is thin and flexible. The visibility and response or sensitivity is great. No complaints there at all. I don’t notice any color issues or blur at all. The texture is very slight to the touch with the pencil, like paper so it’s really easy to forget about it. Unlike the slick surface which I am always aware of as being weird for drawing. I can see why people who are artists, are probably asking for this. I get it now. Texture is slight, and is less of a drain on your thoughts, than the oddly smooth regular glass surface. it is so weird. I was worried about rainbow effects, distortion and even poor connection, but there isn’t an issue with any of these things. What a great value. I’m not using anything fancy. I have a 10.2″ 7th gen ipad. It’s my first ipad, and I’m new at this. I am using procreate as the art ap, and it’s fun and easy. I have not invested in an authentic pencil but I recommend them to artists. The knock offs I have are great but there isn’t pressure and angle or tilt isn’t perfect either. The knock offs are working regardless I am learning body memory and I can draw with them. I really need to invest in a pencil however. I’m not a profession digital artist and can’t speak to how this product compares to others, but from my experience, this is great and I am able to use it without feeling limited or distracted. I actually think that the texture is better than expected. You just don’t realize that it bothers you until you have texture back. Like when the refrigerator noise stops making that noise and you relax suddenly because there is pure silence again. 3 stars.Read more

This screen protector may not be for everyone. I say that since it has a uniquely different feel than most protectors. It’s not smooth. The paper feel concept is interesting in that the sheet has a texture and is frosted, thus not completely clear. The Gen2 Anti-Blue Light Paperfeel Screen Protector was extremely easy to apply with only a few bubbles. They have worked out completely. If you want a screen cover that has the feel of paper, then this one is for you. Writing with the iPad pen works just fine, too. It does feel like paper when using the pen as well as your finger.Read more

My 15 year old daughter loves to draw with the pen on her iPad. She’s also learning Japanese and uses it for practicing writing the characters. She wanted to try one of these types of films, so I ordered this one. It seems to be a good fit for her 10.2″ iPad screen that she bought a few months ago. It applied easily (she did it without my help), leaving only a few minor bubbles that seem to be working themselves out. It feels and even sounds like writing on paper. According to her, it’s a big improvement when using the pen. It does not seem to alter the appearance of the screen either, so it’s still good for other uses. I like that it comes with a second film that she can use when this one wears out. Plus, it seems to add a good layer of protection against scratches.Read more
