If there is one thing I hate about applying a screen protector, is the bubbles and the hidden fuzzies that get trapped. I am, by no means, someone who is good or even decent at applying screen protectors. But the instructions that came with this guide and the video provided made application so easy. You can even see in the picture I added that I have no bubbles whatsoever!! I was afraid that this product would also make the colors on the screen dull or even hard to look at. Not the case! The screen colors still look amazing, they are just slightly matte how. Now, there are some things that would factor into whether you would like screen protectors like the one Mobdik sells or ones like Paperlike, and that’s the feeling of the protector. They are a bit scratchy/ rough with a texture you can feel. If you are not going to use your iPad for writing or drawing, I would say this kind of protector isn’t a good choice. This kind of protector simulates what writing is supposed to feel like, and it does. There is more friction on the iPad with the protector, as opposed to having no protector. It doesn’t really hinder the sound of the Stylus hitting the screen (I didn’t buy it for that reason), but if that’s what you’re looking for, a stylus tip cover would be your best bet. Now, there is some “grain” type of situation that happens with the protector. It doesn’t bother me, and it isn’t that much of a problem, but I know some people don’t like that. Even the Paperlike screen protectors do this to an extent, so this inevitable with these types of protectors. Again, I don’t mind this. Some might. Overall, I love the product I bought. It came in good condition, was nicely packaged, no noticeable dents or tears, and I would definitely buy it again once my second screen cover gives out :)Read more

I’ve come to the reviews right after installing this thing because I tried to follow the instructions, and it was the hardest thing on the planet. Steps 4-6 in the insert should be re-worded ( they add extra info that just confuses people) and the diagrams on that insert should be re-done to match the ones on the outside packaging. 1. Put the anti-skidding mats under your tablet 2. Clean the screen 3. Place the screen cover on your devices screen so that the number 2 is visible from the front. Position it so that the cover lines up correctly with the homes button and camera lens. 4. Use the stickers to tape the screen cover in this position to the iPad, as shown in diagram. 5. Flip the screen back like you’re opening a door, make sure the screen is free of dust. 6. Pull the tab marked “1” slowly as the sticky side is revealed and comes into contact with the iPad screen. 7. You can use the provided squeegee to help the screen lay down correctly, or guide it with your hands. If a bubble forms, peel the screen cover back off that spot and try laying it down again. 8. Once the screen cover is affixed to the iPad screen, pull the tab marked “2” to peel off the protective layer and the stickers. Tada.Read more

My Paperlike cover lost some of the tackiness at the corner after changing into various Covers and accidentally lifting the edges up a few times, so I decided to just go ahead and get a replacement. Saw this and decided to give it a try. Here are my thoughts. Installation – Paperfeel wins this one with all of its little tools. When I purchased Paperlike, it came with positioning stickers, the wet clothes, but the little squeegee and anti slip pads with the Paperfeel were actually quite handy. As a result, I had no dust specks not air bubbles trapped under the surface. Looks – I’d say these are a match in terms of matte…the Paperlike might give a smidge more anti-glare but not enough for me to declare it a winner. Function – this is where Paperlike wins. Paperfeel does give traction but it’s inconsistent. Parts of it have that paper feel I was expecting but other parts just feel like glass with a bit of dried soda residue on it. In those areas, my pencil doesn’t glide as nicely. I’m going to give it a few more days of use and will update at a later time.Read more

I love the feel of the screen protector. If you take notes or use Procreate I recommend this product. I didn’t like the sliding glossy feel of the tablet screen, but with this product I can use my pencil better.Read more

I am an artist who uses my iPad as my main medium. I got this because I needed a screen protector and it’s great! It feels nice, Doesn’t pull the pencil as you draw and the anti glare is great for working outside. It was a little difficult to put on. They do give very detailed instructions but it was still a little difficult.Read more

Worked great for about the first month maybe but now, becaus I use my iPad for more than just drawing as I assume most people do, the paper feel is wearing off in some places, and not in places I use the iPad the most. It’s smooth in some parts like the corner and one side. I feel like it should really last. If I have to buy again and if seems like I will, I’ll buy a different brand.Read more
