    It took replacing some of these parts twice in a few months to figure out what was actually causing my dryer to overheat and blow the heating element and/or thermal fuse. The vents had a lot of lint buildup. And so did the innards of the dryer where the lint screen goes. If you replace these parts, take the cover off the lint trap plenum and clean it out. I had all kinds of guitar picks, coins, candy wrappers, dead bugs, strings and who knows what else piled up in the bottom of the lint trap. Every time the lint screen is pulled, some stuff falls down into this dead space. Mine was almost completely plugged. I recommend this product. it is a much lower cost than the parts from the manufacturer but look exactly the same.Read more

    Most importantly, the kit of parts had the correct temp rating for the dryer thermostats. Most available on Amazon are rated too low. Look at your parts carefully as the thermostats have a temp # stamped on them. This item has the correct parts for my Kenmore (whirpool) dryer. Very good quality and fit. I am well pleased.Read more

    I had one of the sensors fail in my dryer and figured I’d change the heating coil too while I was down there. This kit is a crazy value when compared to separate components from the typical appliance parts warehouses. I used the two temperature cutoffs and the coil. All were exact fit replacements. I didn’t rate longevity as I’ve only recently installed the parts. Would definitely recommend this kit.Read more
