I purchased this based on the ad stating that this toothbrush could be used for cats. For some cats, perhaps, but mine did not tolerate this brush at all. I have two 2 year old Siamese mixed breed rescue cats who are genetically predisposed to bad teeth (per my vet and subsequent mortgage level vet bills). As a result of their teeth, my vet told me that I needed to find a way to brush their teeth – daily (gulp). In my quest to live up to this medical mandate, I began trying all options for toothbrushes, including this one. While I think the design of this brush (a 360 soft bristled head on a plastic handle), may work on animals with larger mouths, I could not fit the brush head into my cats’ mouths without them severely gagging, let alone twisting the brush as advertised. Pure disaster for both the cats and myself. For my purposes, what worked best was using my finger as a toothbrush – more effective and doesn’t freak them out like this brush does. A piece of gauze, or a small white CET cat toothbrush that comes included in the CET hygiene kit also worked better than this particular brush. Disappointed that for the price of these, I can’t use them for the intended purpose.Read more

My 10 year old pomeranian showed me how to use it. I loaded the brush with her toothpaste and let her start licking it off the brush. Before too long she was chewing on it so I started twirling it. I was able to get her whole mouth using this method. The same method worked on my 8 month old pomeranian as well.Read more

Update Sept 14, 2019: ‘ve now been using this toothbrush for my dog for about 6 weeks, and I have to change my rating to 5 star. It is still pricey compared to other brushes and I would love the option of buying more than one, and skip the case because I do not use it anyway. The main reason I am increasing my rating is that at first I thought the bristles were too hard for my dog because it made her gums bleed, but I think it was just the condition of her gums and now that I have been brushing them daily they no longer bleed and I appreciate that this brush is a little more abrasive because it really can work at the tartar build up on her teeth. I still may need to get her teeth professionally cleaned but feel with this brush we are making some headway. Original Review: I really love this toothbrush for my dog but honestly for almost $12 this is too expensive for what you get. They do give you a toothbrush case but honestly I’d rather have a couple extra tooth brushes than the case. This brush works way better than anything I have tried but I do not think it’s going to last too long. Also it would be nice if they offered one with a little softer bristles. The bristles on this are a little more scratchy than I would like and made my dogs gums bleed when I used it. Maybe after we have been using it longer her gums will be tougher but I sort of think they should be a little softer. The overall design though is perfect. The size is perfect too. It is easy to get where it needs to go. My dog is a 17 lb westie, and I’ve had trouble with the finger brushes but this 360 design is perfect and I can get all the tooth surfaces easily. While I think it’s overpriced and bristles a bit too stiff, It’s still better than anything else I’ve tried. Like another reviewer said, I wish it was a little smaller in diameter, but my four pound chi lets me pull her cheeks back to begin brushing and then really seems to enjoy having the brush gently twisted around in her mouth. I can get to all her back teeth which I couldn’t with a finger brush. After brushing, I let her chew on the brush for a minute or two, so she gets a little extra cleaning and gets some areas I can’t easily get, like the inside edges of the teeth.Read more

Our 3.6 lb Shih Tzu doesn’t mind when we brush her teeth with this, which is one of the things that makes this a great product. It gets the plaque and build-up off her teeth and gums quite nicely. Other toothbrushes are too big.Read more

I like this toothbrush. It’s cute and seems like it will brush my cats teeth good. She thinks it’s a toy and was already playing and chewing it. I also bought chicken flavored toothpaste for her. The only issue is that the bristles are super fine that they have little particles and lint stuck with no way to remove them. It’s really not that big of a deal though. I recommend this for your pets dental health.Read more

The media could not be loaded. My two mini poodles used to hate getting their teeth brushed. After I switch to this product, they start to wiggle their tail and wait by the door to get their teeth cleaned almost every night. The brush made their brushing experience much pleasant and tolerable because of how soft it is. It’s very gentle on their gum, and I haven’t seen any bleeding yet. I also like how it’s 360, you don’t have to aim and try to get a good angle. I do wish it is a little smaller in diameter, it’s a bit tight for my small one(7 lbs), but my dogs let me pull their cheeks, so I just put some dog toothpaste and stick it in there. I will say they still dislike getting their teeth brushed, but little discomfort with some yummy toothpaste made it all worth it for them.Read more

Best toothbrush. My dog actually gets excited and loves to chew on it while I twirl it over his teeth. It’s perfect size for my Yorkshire Terrier. Only lasted a month, so durability is a must need improvement especially for the overprice. If this company could improve on durability they will be way ahead of any competitors that decide to manufacture this design. I’ve only seen one other company selling this design, but it’s bound to become very popular due to extreme ease of use, which is every dog owners biggest desire when it comes to cleaning their pets teeth.Read more
