I bought these with the idea that I’d give some of them away to my son’s cousins & for my son to use as well (since they force you to buy a huge pack of 48 pencils as the ONLY option). However, they are CHEAP & NOT decent pencils to give in gift bags since almost immediately after my son used them just a FEW times almost ALL of the metallic coloring came RIGHT off (which is the ONLY reason I bought these since my son specifically wanted metallic pencils!) What you’re left with is just an ugly red pencil underneath the metallic color…with just smudges of metallic color left. They wind up looking ugly if you don’t like the color red much…& not very cool looking with barely any metallic coloring left on them. Plus I don’t appreciate that the metallic color (which is most likely of some chemical origin) winds up absorbed into my son’s skin most likely…since it isn’t like the metallic coloring flakes off all over the place…the metallic color just disappears…obviously absorbed into my son’s skin. These are JUNK & they force you to buy 48 in a pack so you get stuck paying more for totally crappy pencils! I’m annoyed I wasted my money on these & would like a refund!!Read more
