I have posted pictures to show how nice they look when finished. The holders themselves are great and they swivel in order to fit any guitar head/neck. They also have a soft rubber to protect the contact point with the guitar. The screws are also solid if running it straight into a stud. The reason I can only give 4 stars is the drywall anchors are trash. I tried installing them to avoid going to the hardware store but after installing the second anchor it failed and I decided I could not trust them. I went to the store, dropped a little less than $10 on togglebolts (someone else called them a “butterfly anchor”) and small washers and now I have a trustworthy setup. I only had to use them on 2 hangars and ran the other ones with screws to studs. Heres the completed picture and what togglebolts look like.Read more

Man these mounts seem flimsy as all get out. They aren’t though, they seem to be holding the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and electric bass that I hung on them. I’ll admit I held my breath for the first hour after I hung them, but it’s been a few weeks now and not so much as a wobble has come from the wall. Installation wasn’t that difficult as far as the mounts go. (The lack of many vertical studs above 8 feet in our vaulted ceiling was a pain, but that’s neither here nor there.) The hardest part was the level-ness of the mount, the verticality. My internet is telling me neither of those are words, but whatever. Normally I’d put my bubble level up the long side of the mount to ensure it’s level. In this case, the sides are slightly football-shaped up and down, so its flat side is on the top and bottom instead (the short sides), which are still kind of rounded in their own right, so even if you use a level you’ll have to do some “eyeing it up”. Fortunately, the mounting screws aren’t that far apart, so even if it’s a couple degrees off vertical, you’re still going to hit your stud. Also fortunately, the mount arms that actually hold the guitars are rotatable so the guitar will still hang vertically even if the mount isn’t (thanks, gravity). You just have to kind of gut through it and get past the OCD/anal “but it’s just not quite straight…” thought. With 6 in a pack for just a few bucks (under $10 I’m pretty sure), this was a great value. They may not be the sexiest guitar mounts, but I now have three guitars mounted on a wall, which is sexy in its own right. Plus I have extras if I can talk her into letting me hang the uke too.Read more

They turned out just as the rest of the commenters said. I made sure to be careful when tightening them as to not crack the plastic. I use wall anchors all the time so I didn’t think I needed to tie it into a stud, even for my son’s cheap electric that feels like it ways 20 pounds. It’s up there hanging right now and appears to be solid…only time will tell….update to follow? UPDATE: As of 7/2020 they are still holding great!Read more

Glad they come in a 6 pack, 2 of them broke straight-away. Fortunately I only needed 3. (cheaper to buy a 6 pack than 3 individual!) I used butterfly anchros to attach them to the wall instead of the drywall anchors they included.Read more

These are some inexpensive hangers for stringed instruments – hanging guitars and a banjitar from mine. They DO handle necks/stocks of various sizes – for example the Tele headstock has a narrower profile than the more standard type Les Paul head. These DO swivel in to handle those types and all styles of stocks nicely. That said, by virtue of this, they DO end up feeling a bit on the “cheap” side. THAT said, I haven’t had any issue with them after a few months. I did use an upgraded set of sheetrock anchors to make sure that they WOULD be able to handle even my heaviest guitars. Nutshell – they work for a variety of guitars, they’re inexpensive. Perfect for most people.Read more

Overall this is a great solution. I have one of these in almost every room of my house. Turns out guitars are great decorations as well as instruments! They are lightweight but not flimsy. I have no reservations hanging any of my guitars on them, even the expensive ones. One of my acoustics touch the wall but the Les Paul and Strat style guitars hang freely. The arms are adjustable, I have not had a problem with them getting loose but I usually use the same guitars on them so they don’t move much. I only gave four stars because I was hesitant to use the drywall anchor that came with them. I bought beefier hardware for all but one of them. That being said, I haven’t had a problem with the one that used the screws that came with them. You do have to drill 2 holes in your wall so it is not a 100% simple install. Anyone who has used drywall anchors before shouldn’t have a problem. I definitely recommend these for anyone looking to display your guitars or get them off floor stands.Read more

I got these to hang our instruments. I actually chose a different wall at first and hung them. Then I bought a cat tree that was really big and had to put it in that spot. So we moved them to the spot in the picture. I had extra anchors in my toolbox and used those when I hung the hooks the second time. The banjo is heavy and I wanted to make sure that they wouldn’t fall off the wall and get damaged. I didn’t use the anchors for the ukulele because I ran out. I like how I can bend the hangers to fit the necks. They are all so soft and squishy on the outside so they don’t scratch the instruments. Everyone that came over thought they were pretty cool. I had a few extra and gave them away to friends that wanted some. Going to order another pack because I have another instrument coming.Read more

I wanted to get a few of my instruments on the wall for easier access, and these worked out great. The fact that they’re width-adjustable was important to me because I wasn’t sure what would end up on the wall and I wanted the flexibility of hanging anything that would fit (upright bass was not an option…) As noted by other reviewers, the included drywall screw inserts are not great, I used a product called “EZ Ancor” (not a typo), which is a self-drilling anchor and the hangers are totally solid. Highly recommended with the caveat above.Read more

Muy buen paquete, resistentes y con todos los materiales necesarios para su instalación. Me gustó que son muy rígidos para tener la seguridad que no se caerán las guitarras jejeje. Incluso yo los puse con un violín y un ukelele y funcionaron muy bien.Read more
