Bought this strip to make my small kitchen brighter and more fun, it was really depressing thou. I haven’t compare with another brands, so, nothing to say here, as it my first installation. But I like the result! I didn’t try app and synchronize with music, it seems like rocket science lol, anyway I plan to use just preinstalled modes which I can easily switch with the remote. As for installment, I wouldn’t say it was easy-easy, but I was able to handle it. Upd: you have to buy connectors, multipliers if you want to split to different segments.Read more

Used all around living room to give a more subtle lighting effect since I suffer from migraines often and it’s great! All the colors are pretty but it’s also really nice to be able to have a color wheel that lets you pick a mid ground between soft white and daylight. HOWEVER, it’s important to note the if you use a Vizio TV you need to place the sensor somewhere hidden (which KiNDA defeats the purpose) because the Vizio remote WILL trigger them. We have 3 different Vizio TVs in the house with 3 different versions of remotes and yes, each one did it. So far we’ve learned that Volume + turns the lights on, Volume – turns them off, Channel + is brighter, Channel – is dimmer, Power makes them orange….and the rest we haven’t really documented. It’s not a deal breaker, but since I didn’t know this would be an issue, I mounted the sensor too close to the TV and it’s a pain when I don’t mean to change it and it changes. On the plus side, if I ever lose the remote and don’t have access to my phone, I have a substitute! I paid about ten dollars more when I ordered these, so I’d say if you’re on the fence, pick them up!Read more

Bought these to use for xmas lights and worked beautifully but after a week or so one side went out, I contacted seller by scanning the QR code on box cause it has a 24 month warranty, within 30 they contacted me asking for a video of affected lights and said will send me replacement got them within 1 week installed them and look freaking awesome I’ve been getting a lot of compliments from my neighborhood saying they are bright and just simply look great and can add music and sync to song makes it the best led light I’ve bought. I highly recommend these to anyone especially for the holidays.Read more

The lights themselves are nice, but the connector sent along to splice the two reps is really just a bit too small for the tape. We couldn’t get it to work, like others have said. We will have to order a different style connector. The bigger issue though is the remote. There is a Roku tv in the same room with the lights – they are apparently both infrared. The only solution we have found is to use the Roku app for the tv, as the Roku remote will change the LED light color when used.Read more

Love the lights themselves… PROS: Lights themselves are nice and bright. So far so good on the adhesive hold. There are 3 ways to control the lights (buttons on the lights, remote control and app). Obviously, you have more control with the app. We are using these at the deer lease, so my selling point with these light vs the rest was that the app connected to the light via bluetooth and not wi-fi. This is a great feature. Also like that you can control this with buttons on the lights themselves since we will have several different people on the lease. CONS: The best feature is also the most annoying, the bluetooth does not always work. It is usually an easy fix, just annoying. You either have to restart the app but sometimes it requires a phone restart. Then back up and running. NEUTRAL: I was needing a single roll of lights, these can in 2 different rolls, which I made work… Overall… This is a great option especially if you don’t have wi-fi available.Read more

I purchased 2 sets they work great but there is certain colors that do not match with the second 80ft kit, blue is darker on one kit while lighter blue is clearly visible on the second strip, this also happends with white, purple, orange etc. Pictures show darker leds to the left and lighter leds to the right. If your picky like me do not buy 2 sets and expect equal results! For this i reason these lights are not worth $50Read more
