Adam’s Iron Remover (16oz) – Iron Out Fallout Rust Remover Spray for Car Detailing | Remove Iron Particles in Car Paint, Motorcycle, RV & Boat | Use Before Clay Bar, Car Wax or Car Wash 16 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

(13 customer reviews)

✅ NEW IMPROVED FORMULATION RELEASED JUNE 2019 – Adam’s Iron Remover is a special product that has the chemical ability to help remove Iron(III)oxide particles from your vehicle’s paintwork without the need to do so mechanically. When Adam’s Iron Remover hits your paint, it loosens up these particles and allows you to easily and safely rinse them off.
✅ PROTECT AND REMOVE HARMFUL FALLOUT – Bonded iron can embed itself into the surface and cause harm to your vehicle’s fragile finish. When using a clay bar to cleanse your paint, you’re only removing the surface deposits and not the after-effects or below-surface deposits. Iron Remover targets those unwanted items.
✅ SAFE ON ALL PAINTED SURFACES, INCLUDING WHEELS – Simply rinse your vehicle down and spray Adam’s Iron Remover to any painted surfaces, whether ceramic coated or not, and watch as your paint “bleeds” purple and removes the harmful iron deposits from your finish. Avoid using it on your trim & metallic surfaces.
✅ REDUCED SCENT, ACID-FREE, AND RICH ORANGE COLOR – Many iron cleansers on the market contain an ingredient that can be putrid after repeated use, but Adam’s Iron Remover is a pH neutral formula that is safe on clear coat and single stage paint. This improved formula activates quicker on contact and will not stain your trim like our old formula. However, you still need to minimize overspray and avoid it on your exterior plastic, trim and metallic parts.
✅ 110% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE AND USA MADE – At Adam’s, we strive to bring the BEST iron deposit remover, detailing kits, waxes, sealants, ceramic coatings, car accessories, microfiber towels, and top of line cleaning products to our customers. If you don’t agree, let us know and we’ll do everything we can to make it right!

Tested the product out on a old truck with years of iron deposits in it. Holy cow does this stuff work. I didn’t use the product correctly and it still removed a ton of product. If I remember after washing the truck to take pictures I’ll update with better before and afters when using it properly.Read more

i was stoked when i saw this come out for the price and from Adams but, it will ruin PPF, clear bras, and plastic trim with irremovable streaks. you cannot use this in a hot temperature and definitely not in sun. IRON X will not do this. maybe its the dye or scent they used but until they fix this i do not recommend and only use it for wheels. Use a better brands fallout remover.Read more

3 stars because it SOMEWHAT worked. But not to the desired amount that I was hoping for and it left a couple issues that I was left to fix through the use of cutting compound. Got this product because I generally really like Adams Polish’s products. I needed to remove some iron deposits on my Ford Powerstroke’s paint due to me working on something nearby and I guess the metal particles landed on the paint and embedded. Either way I needed to get them off as they had left a slight blueish hued iron oxidation look on certain areas on the paint that had been exposed to the metal particles and brake rotor material from driving. So I figured the Adams Iron Decon would be great for this task. It did for the most part work on most of the problem areas on the paint. But there were some spots I hit twice and it didn’t get all of it removed so I ended up finishing off some spots with a little light cutting compound and that solved the issue. But what I must warn is that even when you apply the Iron Decon in a cool shaded area and the paint is cool to the touch, even after rinsing I noticed it stained my black paint and almost looked as if it had stripped the clear coat to a dull hazy finished and left stained streaks even after letting sit for 3-5 mins and rinsing thoroughly and re-hand washing the area. Ended up having to compound those areas as well due to the staining it left. Maybe theres a Chance it was some sort of user error considering other areas did not have that issue. Maybe this is only an issue for darker paint colors, but either way be warned. Also DO NOT APPLY IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR ON HOT PAINT (you will get the same staining effect on darker paints if directions are not followed)Read more

Your better off not using an iron remover than using this…I don’t know if Adams purposely makes this weak because most of their customers are new to detailing, but this stuff literally doesn’t do anything…do yourself a favor and buy the real thing CARPRO IRONX…you’ll be glad you didRead more

I bought this as part of a major detail of my 06 Pontiac Vibe. I’ve had it for about 2 1/2 yrs parked outside. The original owners kept if garaged so it wasn’t horrible but in need of TLC. I rinsed off then sprayed the entire wet car (used whole bottle) then let sit for about 10 min before rinsing per the directions. The Vibe is dark red but I could still see it working. After the rinse I gave it a good wash with CG wax remover soap then clay bar. The Iron Remover worked so well the clay bar felt smooth going across the paint from the start picking up very little leftover contaminants. I highly recommend using this before claying. I’m super glad I did. Will use again.Read more

I have not done a proper prep and wax on my Tesla. It’s 5 years old, so it’s high time. The paint still looks good and I want it to stay that way so I’m prepping to do a clay bar, polish and wax job. Got all the machines and cleaning products needed to do a thorough job. Really glad I got the Iron remover. Just sprayed it on, waited until it turned purple and hosed it off. Easy. Saw lots of purple and the little orange spots are gone. I believe it is an important step, even on a brand new car, but certainly after 5 years of use. I took off a star because I wish the bottle was a couple ounces larger. I had to apply sparingly as I neared the end. My car is big and I needed the whole bottle. Two more ounces would have been perfect. Still, I just made it and feel good about having done this step. One more change I would have made. I wish I bought a product that does iron AND tar removal. I used a different product on the tar. So the prep took 2 passes, but each was easy so it was no big deal. Adams Iron Remover worked great on the iron and that is what I bought it for. Also, it got a lot of crud off my wheels. Good stuff. Would use again.Read more

I used this on a 3 week old F150 that had substantial rail rust on the hood, fenders and quarter panels. I applied this 3-4 times on those areas, which took the entire bottle and each time took a little more iron out of the paint. It didn’t damage any of the plastic trim but I tried not to spray directly on it and only waited 4-5 minutes each time. In all it removed about 3/4 of the iron but I still had to clay bar the paint to remove what was left over. I was pretty pleased given the cost compared to iron-x, which I have never used but seemed to be the one to beat in my research. This had a pretty pleasant scent but I’d suggest wearing a respirator or at least not using this in a windy area to keep it out of your face/lungs.Read more

I have two pearl white cars in my household and I am constantly fighting the orange rust specs in the paint. Recently detailed both and tried this product to assist in removing prior to claying. I have to say it did a pretty decent job. I had none of the streaking previous reviews of spoke of. I did both cars in the garage out of direct sunlight so this may have prevented that. The smaller specks did disappear, however, some of the large ones only lightened a little more after a second application. I would not use this on its own to strip prior to sealing and waxing as I feel a complete clay bar treatment is necessary to do the job right, but it did do what I expected and lessened the passes with the clay bar.Read more

Tried Adams iron remover to help pull iron fallout from trim and bumpers. Found it to be just so so. It did remove a little more than 1/2 the rusty spots. Tried second application a gentle scrub with soft brush too… still had some rust spotting. Will try on paint work of my pickup next and will update my review if its redeemed 1/2 bottle left. Arrived having leaky package.Read more

I’ve been getting more and more into auto detailing lately. I’ve always kept my cars clean but now I’ve been after that show car look. This stuff works really well. It took out impurities that I never knew were there. My wheels haven’t looked this good since they left the show room. Doesn’t have a chemical smell. Will be buying againRead more

White sedan that’s over 8 years old. It worked wonders and removed over 90% of the problem rust. Wish there was more in the bottle for touch ups but overall very happy. First time using a product like this and Will buy again.Read more

I couldn’t be more pleased with the results of Adam’s Iron Remover. Having lived through my first winter in the country where my house is on a dirt road, i was devastated to see this horrible rust color on the side of my shiny pearl white car. The roads and the surrounding area is just full of iron which is how it got embedded into the car’s clear coat. No matter how many times i tried washing it, nothing was working. Until i researched this product. I took the bottle of Adam’s iron remover to the car wash, i sprayed the rust particles. I waited about 10 minutes to let it do its magic. You will notice the orange spray turn purple as it seeps down. It actually has a pleasant flowery scent as a bonus. I then washed my car and the nasty iron bits nearly all came off. There are a few more spots that are still in need of some attention, i will address that at a later time. I may have used too much of the Iron Remover, for next time i would suggest not to go too crazy. Just a reasonable amount where its needed. Is the price right? Hard to say, but it served its purpose.Read more
