I chose this charger over other replacements because it was cheap and looked really similar to the original Samsung charger. It works and feels the same as an original; cable isn’t flimsy, it fits the phone correctly and chargers quickly. HOWEVER, I have noticed that it does charge a little more slower than Samsung’s which is not a big deal but most importantly, it DRAINS your battery very quickly. It almost feels like it’s ruining my phone battery. I don’t use my phone much so with a full charge from the original, I could last at least 2 days before it drops below 15%. Now I go from 100% to around 40-50% in one day. I have noticed this with my other family members phones as we all use this one occasionally. Maybe the charger I received is faulty, or maybe I’m just overthinking it, but this is the only thing that I have changed with my phone that is affecting battery life. I won’t return this product because I am going to upgrade my phone later, but for those wanting to make your phone last, I wouldn’t recommend.Read more

This is a good solid fast charger that won’t break the bank. I found that the charger itself seems to be good and solid. The cable that came with it at first glance seemed a little thin, but does the job. But what I especially like is that the USB A connection is on the side of the charger instead of the end. This helps if the charger is plugged into a tight area. I have more than one device that uses a USB type C connection. This includes a non-Samsung tablet. The charger had no problem charging those devices as well. Even though it is rated for a USB 3.1, it had no problem when I plug it in on my computer to either the USB 3.0 or the USB 2.0 slots. For $10 it’s well worth the money. You can’t have too many chargers around.Read more

This charger is absolute junk, dangerous junk. I just got this charger today (08/10/20) and haven’t even used it for 10 minutes before I smelled hot plastic. The charger itself was extremely hot to the touch. This shouldn’t even be legal to sell. I understand that cheaper chargers arent the greatest, but something like this is utter nonsense. Dont waste your money on this, get a pricier charger that will atleast do what it is supposed to and not threaten to set your house on fire.Read more

The last time I tried using it, I got this message on my phone: MAKE SURE CABLE IS NOT DAMAGED. DEVICE CHARGING SLOWLY.
