Sometimes when I sit on it swinging and seems loose, but I think its understandable because I weight 90 kg;) The wooden legs wore out easily after some time (unless you don’t touch it;). The storage compartment of the bench is only 1 inch deep by 11 inches by 19.5 inches. It will only hold one small stack of books. If they would have made it an inch wider, it would hold 2 stacks of books. Obviously, they should also have made it deeper. I have 2 kids that have only had 6 lessons each, and they already have books that won’t fit in it.Read more

We’ve had this bench at our antique piano for over a year now and I am so glad I took a chance and bought it! My friend said I needed to get a solid wood round stool to look right with our 1910 converted player piano, but that didn’t fit into our budget. This small bench did. I have a 10 year old and 2-8 year olds that practice on it. I have retightened the legs once but other than that, it has held up really well to my crew of crazies and looks lovely.
