Just recieved this product like two mins ago , i will update this post once i actually use it but as of right now i am not happy. Why is it yellow ? I thought it would be translucent AND its super thick powder not finely milled so we will see. Update 1: i uploaded a picture. Goes on SUPER CHALKY. Dont like it so far . UPDATE 2: You definitely shouldnt bake with this but it does set your face very well. It doesn’t define your contour even after waiting the 5-10 mins it suggests. Review from wife: Purchased this powder because I have very sensitive skin and most setting powders break me out, even if they do last all day. I’ve used many setting powders before and nothing comes close to being as good as this one. It has a nice sheen to it so it isn’t completely matte, doesn’t dry out the skin, photographs amazingly, and wears all day long with no touch up’s needed. It set my La Mer foundation so well, I had absolutely no creasing under the eyes, on the side of my both or on my chin like I normally do with other powders. As soon as I started using this powder I started getting compliments on my skin. I am 61 years old and it seems to soften or blur some of the lines on my face and gives me a glow. Its definitely worth the cost and the little time it takes to apply. I use a fan shaped brush to apply it. I put it on after my foundation powder applying it to a dark fold near my cheek where it is starting to look sunken in, then I do a light brush all over my face. I like that it doesn’t have talc that is bad to breathe. Highly recommend this product!Read more

Very good setting powder. Container is large and powder is finely milled, doesn’t settle into pores when applied with a powder brush or cause white sweat dots if you sweat. Powder is mica not talc, very slight sheen and doesn’t oxidize on me. Product is manufactured in China though distributed by a French company. I took off one star because I am wary of chemical products made in China. Peel off only a portion of plastic sticker that covers the holes where the powder shakes out and you won’t have a problem with spillage or wasted powder.Read more

I have sensitive combo skin. I have recently come across the perfect foundation for me purlisse bb cream. Figured I would start the hunt for the right powder. I am a chef so i work in a hot muggyish environment. Even with that I only need to apply in the morning, I only reapply at night if i plan on going out. I use a brush instead of the dense spongy pad and goes on great, do not need a lot at all. I have been wearing for a month and the amount was barely noticeable. My skin has less breakouts and minimal dry spots now. I have used physicians formula, origins and tarte powders this is my favorite so far. My skin has less breakouts and dry spots, but again I switched my foundation and powder at the same time. *edit* Still using feb 2018 and i had to use physicians formula for a bit because i forgo to order. i know now that I will not let this happen again.
