In the Amazon page and even on the box, itself, it clearly shows 3in x 4in pad. In reality, while the item including adhesive may be 3in x 4in, the pad is only 2in x 3in. I am amazed that Amazon would allow this kind of deception to go on. I am giving this item 2 stars instead of 1 ONLY because it seems to be a quality product. It just isn’t large enough for the use I had in mind for it. However, there is no excuse for lying to the public about the contents of the box.Read more

This bandage has as the active antibacterial ingredient Benzalkonium Chloride 0.1%. Well, I guess my skin did not like this chemical. When I took off the bandage after 24 hours, I was left with a huge red area the exact size of the bandage which is 3″ x 4″. It has been 3 days and it is still as red as can be and very tender to the touch. In areas it looks like blood is trapped below the surface of my skin. I see a Doc today.Read more

These All-Health bandages are just right for the typical wounds I get on my elderly skin, either from bumping into something or from cat scratches, which require great care to avoid cellulitis. The outside measurement is 3×4″ and the pad is 2×3″, and I also like the light weight, four-sided adhesion, and antibiotic protection. I use Hibiclens Skin Cleanser and iodine on fresh wounds, and a touch of castor oil on the adhesive edges to make the bandages easier to remove, as they hold a good seal on my skin. I think adhesion depends on skin type–young or old, oily or dry. The four-sided adhesive stays put all day and also in bed so don’t need extra protection at night. Good news for sensitive skin: the bandage comes off more easily when wet. The price is good as well compared to the better-known brands, and I see nothing sub-standard about them.Read more

This turned out to be a terrible product for me. My skin reacted badly to something about it. Within about 30 hours (the second bandage) I began to feel significant pain. I removed the bandage and its entire shape was “printed” on my skin in a serious rash with broken skin over most of the area. It is now about 12 hours later and after cleaning it and applying cortisone, the rash has not improved much and still hurts quite a bit. I have never had a problem like this from a bandaid before and I suggest it is not something you want to risk dealing with.Read more

Quite possibly the best bandage I’ve ever used. It’s on the side of my knee, usually movement means adhesion will suffer, this bandage stays fully adhered through a full workout (pictures uploaded) and when it’s time to take it off, it comes off without too much fuss. I usually don’t get excited about bandages but these go above and beyond. (I did shave the area)Read more

Normally I am skeptical of any bandages insofar as adhesion but I always give one’s (sizes) I use that I am not familiar with a try. These really have quality adhesion which is what I am always concerned with. Bandages falling of is not my cup of tes.Read more

I get mixed results with these. Of course it’s the adhesion which is the issue, and it’s the only real issue I’ve experienced while using these over the past month. I did realize that the position I was in when I applied the bandage had a big effect on adhesion and how long it would stay on. The bandage is on the side of my abdomen and at first I was putting it on while standing. It kept coming off and I was afraid these would be useless to me. It seemed to come off when I was sitting though so I tried applying it then when my skin in that area is actually relaxed rather than stretched, it made a big difference. They stay on pretty well now, for the most part. I’m able to use them so they weren’t a waste of money. I didn’t experience any reactions or discomfort to the antibacterial agent as some have. It should be noted though that it’s still a little inconsistent with how well it adheres, and even at its best it’s not going to stick like the leading elastic brand ones do.Read more

I have now purchased two boxes of these, and just ordered a third. My husband is handicapped and gets wounds on his bum from sitting so much. I have found these absolutely wonderful for this purpose. They protect the risk areas and help them heal where they have raw or bleeding spots. The nurse was using gauze bandages with various kinds of tape and his wounds just got worse, I think from the gauze abrading the wounds further from sliding under pressure. These bandages do not slide at all, because they are smooth on the backs so lessen any pulling when sitting. They generally stay on two to three days before I replace them if needed. AWESOME!Read more

I cut open my knee on pavement and used these to cover the stitched area to keep it clean. It took a very long time for the mark left by the adhesive to disappear. As you can see in the photo (blocked out the actual wound, too gross), long after I stopped using these I had a rectangle of irritated red skin all around my wound (no allergies or skin sensitivities that I know of) and overall found these bandages to be pretty crappy. I’d spring for a better brand next time.Read more

Worst bandages ever! Not only did I have a nasty reaction to the adhesive but it didn’t even stay on no matter what I tried. I just had spinal cord surgery and keeping the incisions protected is critical but these ones fell off right after putting it on leaving my back vulnerable. I had to use tape on these bandages to keep them on (this was before I realized I was having a reaction to them, it came on slow but took forever to go away). Complete waste of money and it won’t protect any wound/incision.Read more
