Real wood and easy to assemble. Note that when you are done, don’t fully tighten all screws into cam bolts. Place right side up on a flat floor, and put some weight on it. Then tighten. Will keep it from being wobbly and not level on the floor.Read more

He even is sliding it to the bathroom now to brush he teach as we have tile and he can get that done. I got this for my 2 and a half year old who loves helping me in the kitchen. It says 2 people should assemble but I did it alone and it took about 30 minutes with 2 children around. Both my kids ended up using this and they are 1 and 2.5 years old. It is very sturdy and I actually used it a few times to get in my high cabinets! The directions say to get everything aligned before tighten everything which is important or it is hard to line up certain screw holes.Read more

I really like this stand. I love how it is lightweight my toddler can slide it around the kitchen so I don’t have to move it. Caution it does tip over if your kid tries to reach too far over, which I would expect would happen for any of these stands. Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is it is super slippery. You’d think for the price they would have grippy on the steps so the kiddos don’t slip off when getting up and down. My son almost cracked his head getting down with socks on. I bought some texture tape (like you put in a bathtub) on the steps and works great!Read more

The product is great and seems safe. Mine came defective, the first step was not properly made when the holes were drilled. They are supposed to fit these little bolts where the screws will then fasten the pieces of wood into place. As you can see from my photos, the holes are not deep enough for the bolt to settle flush into them, resulting in me not being able to screw the pieces together. The first step is now not able to be secured. This is the only piece that came that way but it is preventing me from using it at all.Read more

My son loves this stool. It’s very nice for getting him close to the sink so he can wash his hands. He also likes to climb up to see what’s going on in the kitchen & help with meal prep. This stool seems to be very sturdy. It is important to have it against/near a counter, as there are wood pieces that guard against forceful tipping side to side, but not front to back.Read more
