With only 77,000 miles, I was having all kinds of problems with my 2014 Cummins VGT turbocharger; even put into limp mode and had the exhaust brake stuck. – The turbo and actuator were throwing all kinds of P and U codes. I thought I was looking at a $5,000.00 repair until I did some research. Turns out, the vanes were sticking and turbo was full of crud, causing the actuator to not reach full travel. – Added a few treatments of Archoil AR6400-D to the fuel and ARCHOIL AR9100 Friction Modifier to the oil and the deposits just melted away. Got an occasional P code after that, but they would go away on their own. Now, after about 300 miles, no problems whatsoever. Regained my boost, power and fuel economy. I had been having check engine light issues with my 2011 Super Duty (71K miles) for several months Took it the local Ford dealership and came away $850 poorer AND another check engine light before I got home. Took it back to the dealership and was told I needed a new turbo which would cost about $4000. At that time it had an engine code of P132B that couldn’t be cleared. Put in a full bottle of AR3400-D and filled tank and took a 200 mile drive. The engine code cleared itself by the end of the drive. This stuff is AMAZING. I have an 04 5.9 dodge cummins. I had an injector on the way out. Super rough high idle, running rough between 50-60mph. I looked up a set of injectors. $700 for just the parts. I seen this advertised on facebook before. It’s only $25. I thought “well I’ve spent $25 on dumber things” and clicked order. Dumped it in the tank with the next fill up. Half way through the tank I didn’t feel much difference. I was driving it like an old lady for the time being because of the injectors. I decided that I should try driving it hard because driving like an old man wasn’t working. Got in the throttle on the highway on ramp a couple of times and it started to smooth out. Tried some more spirited accelerating for the rest of the tank and by the end of the tank my injectors were fine!!!! No more lumpy stuff between 50-60 and a super smooth high idle. If you’re on the fence about try it I’d say go for it! You can’t tell me you haven’t spent $25 on dumber things.Read more

Took my 06 LBZ to the dealer as it was constantly throwing turbo overboost and excessive egr codes. Dealer didn’t even check it out, said it needed a new turbo for $9K. as well as an egr cleansing. I was trying to trouble shoot on my own and one person on a diesel forum stated this stuff made a difference in his truck. I asked the dealer and he said it was snake oil. I bought it anyway as it was cheaper than the turbo. Within 50 miles I notice more power and my fuel mpg started to climb slightly. Over the next 200 miles it threw 4 codes. Had thrown a dozen by this time before. After the second tank, no more codes, and 2 1/2 mpg across the board increase. I have no other explanation other than it works and works well. It’s expensive but I will order more and use it every couple thousand miles as part of maintenance.Read more

Outstanding product! I Put 2 bottles in my 2014 Ford F550 with 120k miles before filling up the fuel tank and within 15 miles of driving I noticed the smoother running engine. After driving about 40 miles and average increased about 3 miles per gallon and it felt like driving a brand new truck. I have a 2011 BMW 335d with 170k miles on it. Since just after I purchased it with 70k miles, the check engine light has been on and off. I have spent thousands of dollars chasing ghosts trying to get the damned thing to go out. Earlier on I found some fuel additives would smooth out the idle and after time the light would go out. It inevitably would come on after a hard pull or some random time later. I won’t bore you with the amount of parts swapped and shop visits to date, but after this (the third to be fair) bottle of Archoil, the light has been off for a week so far and the idle has remained more or less smooth. To be honest I did also change the brand of fuel I and using about two months ago. Not sure if that had something to do with it. Almost immediately after adding it to my fuel, the car ran smoother and was more responsive. I’m not sure if the fuel economy improved at all with the application, but the car ran much better. Hope that wasn’t just a perceived improvement. One OBD code that I had was a DPF error (BMW 452A: DDE info- particulate-filter system). That has since cleared. That code didn’t fire the SES light, but would be apparent even after clearing codes with a scan tool. Many “smooth running cylinder” errors and “Cylinder x fuel injector ‘A’ offset learning at min limit” errors would come back and fire the SES light. After two bottles about a month ago and a third last week, the SES light has gone out without having to fire the parts cannon at the car again. I’ll post back here if that changes any time soon. So far I am happy with what this wonder additive has done for my car. Hope the results last. -BobRead more

My F-250 with a 6.0 PSD was experiencing some turbo “bark” and loss of power when I would accelerate off a stop light or to go up a hill. Lots of research and finally a you tube video came up that was my exact same problem, Carbon/ soot build up in my turbo which was not allowing the vanes to open up as they should. Apparently I have not been driving my truck hard enough to exercise that turbo. Have used other Archoil products in the past, when I read that this would help clear up that carbon/ soot, I purchased on Amazon, followed the directions, and after a tank full of fuel and driving the heck out it, the bark stopped and truck runs great. I am not a big believer in “snake oil” additives to “cure” any engine issues BUT, this product did work for me in my situation. Would highly recommend for those with a similar situation.Read more

This. Stuff. Works. Simply said. Follow the directions as how many gallons it treats. I poured the entire bottle thinking it wouldn’t work like the other stuff I’ve used in the past. This stuff, if you pour the entire bottle it will make your engine shake like crazy. I thought I had a broken axle, or a broken engine mount. It felt like a misfire. This stuff is actually strong. Got rid of the engine light for the clogged dpf when a regen wouldn’t even work. It would just pop right back up the next day, but after using this. The engine light is gone, little more fuel economy & definitely more responsive motor which means it actually cleaned the deposits. Would highly recommend this to anyone with a diesel BUT PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. ONE BOTTLE FOR 40Gallons. Do not pour the whole thing for “extra deep cleaning” your engine will shake. This is about my 5th bottle I’ve used. Was used in a 2016 E250 CDI bluetec. Highly recommend. Highly highly highly.Read more

When my engine light came on my OBD2 reader found three permanent exhaust related codes. I bought a bottle of STP DPF cleaner from Canadian Tire. It treated one full tank of fuel but it made no difference. I decided to try Archoil because of the positive comments it was getting on YouTube. Used as directed it treats two full tanks of fuel. After the first tank two of the codes had gone. Shortly into the second tank there are no more codes and no engine light. I would recommend this product.Read more

My Truck was running like garbage! 2000 F-250 7.3L. Was throwing 9 engine codes, would barely start, usually wouldn’t stay running, and if I tried to drive it anywhere it was an adventure, no power, could die anytime and strand you, a nightmare. So I bought this Archoil Diesel Fuel system Cleaner and Archoil9100 Friction Modifier. Expecting to be disappointed but willing to take the risk before spending big money on repairs at a garage. I dumped the products in, and tried to start the truck right away (block heater had been plugged in for hours). It was about -8C out; couldn’t get the truck to run for more than 45 seconds. Did this 3 times. The next day after leaving it plugged in over night, it starts under duress, but I manage to get the rpms up to 2000 and hold them there for about 5 mins. I let the truck come back to idle and leave it idling for 30 mins. Come back outside and it’s still idling, good sign, sounds good too. Decide I’ll drive it 1 km down the road and see how it drives to the gas station, I needed to fill it up after all, I hadn’t followed the mix instructions on the fuel system Cleaner. I baby it down the road. Fill it up. Decide to give’r a rip on the way home and it runs awesome, decide I’ll rip to the next town and get a coffee, truck pulls and cruises at 120 km/h easily. 2 weeks later ish ans still running great. Also I wiped the engine codes and ran it for a few hundred kms and now only have 1 code that shows up. Awesome product.Read more

I found that the benefits of the antistiction of the archoil ar9100 went backwards for a bit after adding this to my fuel tank for 6 liter diesel ford engine. However I’m not done driving on this tank of fuel yet either so maybe I’ll update when done this tank of fuel. Until then riding can be a bit choppy when there’s missing going on.Read more

I drive a golf tdi and battle a lot of city draffic on a daily basis. All the stop and go was causing havoc with my injectors and bpf. I poured 1/2 a bottle in and my engine smoothed right out and after the second half bottle my particulate filter light went out. Awesome product that works.Read more
