I ordered based on all of the positive reviews. What a let down! First the embroidery on every towel looks terrible, see images for just an example. And the towel quality is a very cheap towel. Not soft at all and very thin. Think Dollar store quality. I purchased these for guests to use at my summer house, and I would not want them using this thin rough towel to wash and take their makeup off with. I realize they were at a decent price, but the reviews and description were not accurate so I was very disappointed in what I received quality wise.Read more

I made this purchase after I saw black face clothes for makeup at a resort I was visiting in the Caribbean. Found these here on Amazon and ordered them before I returned home. I was using two “designated” white face clothes that became dingy over time from constant use removing residual makeup from my face. Theses are thick, absorbent and good quality. Absolutely adorable! These were much larger than I was expecting but definitely a good size! Love that they are eco friendly (resuable). The cotton is very soft but still abrasive enough to remove stubborn make-up. They are very well made, not too thin, very sturdy, the embroidery stands out nicely. No more makeup stains on my WHITE washcloths!! I saw these in a home we rented on the Maine harbor. They were in an upstairs bathroom, along with the WHITE towels. What a GREAT IDEA!! I came right home and looked on AMAZON, and there they were ! They are PERFECT for our two guest bathrooms. No more having to try and get mascara/lipstick stains (or any makeup)out of my white washcloths! * Lesson I learned from the rental house……..DON’T wash them with the whites! I noticed some fade marks on the whites at the rental house. :0 (especially the first time you wash them.)
