I had surgery with a pretty long recovery time, and of course everything hurts and everything’s miserable, etc. This stuff is MUCH gentler than the gauze the doctor sent me home with, and it’s really helping me get through the re-gauzing rituals that I hate so much. It’s clearly gentler on my skin, and what’s more? These are so thick, absorbant, and well-made that you can unfold the 3 x 3 to make it a 3 x 6! I’ve had these over an oozing spot (gross, sorry) for a week, changing them every day, and I haven’t had ANY leaking through, even unfolded to be 3 x 6. These are a game changer. I recommend Nexcare Gentle Paper Tape if you need to fix the gauze to a given location. It’s been great.Read more

I had a full permanent toenail removal, the podiatrist told me my wound would weep for 6 to 8 weeks. I bought these to help absorb the fluids my toe weeps and to use to wash my toe twice daily, scrubbing it with a piece of gauze with soap like they told me to. It’s very absorbent and it it’s soft, very well woven and worth the cost, I cut it into 4ths to cover where my toenail used to be and it absorbs quite well for how thin it is, it’s way softer then the other brand I bought and is more absorbent then I thought it would be which is very helpful.Read more

For value and name brand I would say on par for name brand items(which means slightly over priced) for absorption they did great after surgery. My only issue is the are supposedly there is technology to where it doesn’t stick which I always had issues with.
