One size does not fit all, and The Barefoot Scientist Clip Clip Easy-Trim Nail Clippers, have a wide opening to accommodate plus-size nails, like mine. I have been blessed (or cursed) with very thick hard nails, and regular toenail clippers are just about adequate to cut my fingernails. Traditional clippers cannot accommodate the thickness of my toenails and always result in sharp, uneven, and choppy cuts with occasional bloodshed. The nails on my big toes laugh at toenail clippers. They aren’t laughing anymore and no more tears for me!
