It’s cold here in Indiana. The winters are BRUTAL, so when my wife asked me to go out and get some wood for the fire so our children don’t become popscicles, I did it. About 68 miles into my walk searching for firewood, I got the bright idea to see if Amazon sold it! No. they don’t sell trees, but they DO sell the next best thing; STALE, DAMAGED, and ROTTING GARBAGE of baseball cards that the normal human couldn’t GIVE away. Thanks Amazon! It’ll be a warm winter this year!Read more

This is a really good value. The cards have always been in great condition. There’s always been the over produced wax packs, but there’s also been cards I’ve not seen a lot of before. Two Nolan Ryan cards also sit on top of the set, which is my favorite part. All that to say, The first time I bought this, I was like a kid in a candy store. Opened it up and there were a bunch of HOF’s, a bunch of cards from the two teams I collect, and a good diverse selection of cards from many different years. However, the past two I’ve ordered have been much more watered down. Only had 4-5 HOF’s in these last two boxes each (there are 500 cards). Less than 10 of the two teams I collect (not huge market teams), and A LOT of doubles and triples of players. I even had four of the same guy consecutively. My point is that where it seemed as though before they were just taking a chunk out of a set or from a pack, now It seems as though they’ve been sorted through and the company is purposely holding back the fun/valuable cards. It is still fun to open and have 500 cards and for the price it is great for building a collection. But, if you are looking to score some HOF’s, your favorite players or teams, you might just be better off buying old packs.Read more

This is the second time we ordered this. The first time not one card was duplicated. This time we got 30 copies of the same card twice. And my husband hasn’t finished looking through them. Won’t be ordering these anymore!Read more

After opening the box of over 500 cards, I found tons of cards that were exactly the same. I had 1 card that there was 16 of the same card. There were 5 cards from the late 60’s & 1 of a early 70’s, but the rest of the cards were ALL Blue Jays and over 75 cards were doubles. I get that you’ll find a double or 2 in a box this size but when you get 4-5 of the same and have over 75 doubles/triples/etc. out of 500 that’s getting ridiculous.Read more

when I bought this product I was thinking about a gift to my son, but once i had receive it. and start to count the cards. I found 181 repeated cards, sometimes 8 or 10 cards with the same player. so simply at the time to sell just be honest because it is ridiculous if the seller thought that the person who buy the product wouldn’t notice that little detail.Read more

I ordered mine from Superior-Sports-Investments. It is pretty good. I use cards for crafts, and I am able to use about half of them, which is really good. I had less than 25 duplicates. I had about 200 that were 1999 2000 but I love them and am happy. They are beautiful cards and will make great magnets. I got 2 nolan ryan and a mark mcguire. There were about 50 that had bent corners. And while these didnt technically follow the item description, I am very happy. I was scared after reading the other reviews.Read more

There really are 500 cards and there really are a ton of no-names and lots of repeats (5-8 is the most we had). My son doesn’t get annoyed easily and he didn’t seem to mind. He just said he would trade them in the future. As other reviews said, most cards are from the 80s, not the really old cards he would have loved, but we also got him the “40 Baseball Hall-of-Fame and Superstar Cards Collection Including Cal Ripken, Nolan Ryan, Ken Griffey Jr., Babe Ruth…” and that was a thrill This set of 500 was a thrill because it was so huge and took forever to put in the pages. There was nothing show-stopping about the cards, no real treasures found, but with boys sometimes it really is quantity they care about when they are collecting. The other set fit the bill for the “treasures.” Also since most of the cards were from the 80s, my husband was able to tell him a lot about the players since those are the players he used to watch when he was a boy. So that was fine too.Read more

No better or now worse than most of the sports trading card orders I have experienced. IF you are purchasing these to find rookie cards of great players, go look under another rock. But, IF you are looking for an affordable way to re-visit pro baseball players from your youth, then you will enjoy as I did.Read more

No valuables inside. I was so excited when I received the package, but end up 100% disappointment with the cards I received. But I will try one more time if the next box will at least compensate my disappointment. Seller please send me a good one.Read more
