If you are looking to replace your professional paint brushes I’d stay away. There are nowhere near enough bristles per brush to get the desired effect you are wanting. If you are needing some paint brushes for a job or two every now and then, then these are much better suited to you. After I apply paint with my brush, I take a foam roller or foam mini roller and smooth out my paint. It leaves an almost spray painted finish which I have grown to love. Because of this, I’ve discovered I don’t need as high quality of a paint brush, I just need one that I can get the paint on with, cut some decent lines, and is easy to clean. Update: March 10, 2021. I’ve purchased 2 additional sets. I have found that the time & effort invested in cleaning to re-use the brushes after an oil-based paint does not bring back the original efficacy. The price makes it easier to replace than re-use. On the other hand, I have started using the brushes for latex paint projects and found them to clean up exceptionally well with soap & water. I’ve recently decided to update the old outdated guest bathroom and needed brushes to paint the cabinet. I am not an expert on brushes or painting but didn’t want to spend a lot on brushes and a variety pack was the solution to cover all my brush needs. This kit comes with one large brush for large surface areas and 2 narrower brushes for smaller surface areas and a 1-1/2” trim brush which is perfect for the cabinet. I used the 2-1/2” brush with Kilz Original Interior Oil Base for priming the cabinet and doors. I allowed to dry and later applied a second coat. I’m not the go-to person to ask on painting, but I was impressed by how soft and absorbent the bristles were and how smooth the paint spread on. I also liked not having to look for lost or runaway bristle strands hiding on the paint. As for the handle, it was firm and felt OK. I really felt like a Pro after my husband inspected my work. He liked the paint coverage and was shocked that I had no drips. Yep, NO DRIPS! I would like to say it was “zen” moment where brush and hand worked as one, but the truth is probably the brush is a better painter than I. In a couple of days, I’ll pick up some paint and give you an update. Overall, I’m happy with my brushes and the price.Read more

I was expecting to only get one or two uses from these, but have been happy with how well they have been holding up. They seem to work well for interior wall and exterior surfaces. They come in some real cheapo looking packaging although the brushes are far better than how they look in the package, I know dont judge a book by it’s cover.
