We had a 10 X 10 Coleman camping canopy. Over the years, the canopy itself got beat up pretty bad. I had tried to repair it so it had tape patches and some other rips. We finally decided to throw it out. It was literally out on the curb ready to be picked up when it dawned on me that the metal base was in perfect shape and I wondered if I could simply replace the canopy. I dragged it out of the trash and held on to it. Ordered this canopy & it fit perfectly. Brought it back to life and its back on our porch like before and is working great. I even like how it has rain holes. The old Coleman canopy didn’t have these and would sometimes get big pools of water in a heavy rain (which wound up causing some big rips). This one doesn’t have this happen so I like it for that. It only loses a star because I’m not sure what kind of quality it will be in the long run as it seems a bit thinner. Will see.Read more

We needed a new cover for our 10×10 shade canopy, so we bought this one. The listing says 10×10, but the package it came in listed it as 12×12. The fabric is a light polyester type. You can see in the photo that the tan canopy is way too big for our 10×10 frame. The black cord that came with the canopy helps to anchor it to the frame at the corners. With just the black cord holding it to the frame the canopy is way too loose & blows about in the wind lifting the 10×10 frame off the ground! We added the red cord that goes through the mini aluminum holes (see the photo), this cording helps keep the canopy stable. For us it doesn’t matter that it’s too big. Keeps the sun off. When it rains the rain will mist through the canopy & you will get wet. The rain will make puddles in the canopy & when emptied will drench you–if that matters. After making adjustments to the original canopy, this works for us. Water resistant-NO, water-proof-NO, 2-person easy to install. After 4 months the fabric has faded & it no longer feels soft. My canopy is set up outside everyday so it can have direct sunlight for 8+ hours, plus all weather situations.Read more

This does the trick but it won’t last one season. It’s already lost it’s bright hunter green color within a month. It also does not drain rain water well resulting in large “bowls” of water which is putting stress on the Velcro starts pulling them amd causing holes around those. Also with the rain water if I’m not there to “dump” these bowls of rain it’s putting a lot of pressure and weight on my frame. I didn’t realize it wasn’t waterproof but that’s my fault. You can’t sit outside while it’s rainig because it comes right through unless it’s a light sprinkle. The only benefit is it blocks the sun and keeps the porch cool and this combined with the inexpensive price is why I rated it 3 stars instead of 2.Read more

The canopy is made of sturdy material and has more than enough fasteners to keep it securely attached. It also has drawstrings on the corners to keep the canopy from coming off the frame during high winds. The material is resistant to rain and it rolls off instead of accumulating in pockets on the cover. I’m very pleased with it and it’s a great value for the price.Read more

Water Resistance Level: Water Resistant Ultraviolet Light Protection: True The preceding information was listed in the description of this canopy cover. We went camping and a cloudburst occurred, we took shelter under the canopy and quickly discovered the rain drops were converted from drops to a HEAVY MIST! The canopy cover is so porous that it does not resist the rain, it converts it to a water mist. It claims to protect from UV rays, but I don’t believe that would be possible because it is so porous and thin. My bad for not using it sooner to find these things out, so now I’m stuck with a canopy cover that is only useful on clear days while setting under a big shade tree. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY!Read more

This is the best cover I’ve come across so far! We use it to cover our chickens from the 100’+ weather in New Mexico. We were buying the plastic covers but they were usually too tight for the frame and were destroyed by the wind and sun by the end of the summer. I just took this tarp down and am amazed. There was only one little tear which I can patch, and the tarp is only slightly sun bleached, but it will last another season! We were concerned as this didn’t fit tight on the frame, but it held up fine in our blistering spring winds! The ends curl up inside the frame, making it much more secure. Material is light and breathable, allowing heat to rise up through it (making it much more bearable to stand underneath in the heat. Definitely recommend!Read more

I dont know about durability or anything yet, I just put it on. It does seem to be decent heavyish fabric, you can sort of see through it on this cloudy day though so I doubt it will keep out any but the lightest rain. It is a bit small for my 10 x 10 frame, I had to cut velcro extensions for all but 4 of the 16 included straps, you can see that it fits the corners well, its the sides that arent cut long enough somehow. I really like the corner ties though and I do feel like this will be a reasonable shade cover for this summer if the velcro straps can hold it on. For the price, I’m happy with it.Read more

Was really hoping for the best, but this thing fails on all levels. Simply installing it on an Amazon Basics (10 x 10) frame stretched it so badly, the seams started pulling apart immediately. Then, at dusk, we realized we can literally see right through it (never had that problem with the original). The only “instructions” in English are, “Please don’t use under bad weather conditions. We will not be responsible for such weather damages” (Literally, word-word). Shame is, the original (Amazon Basics) canopy was awesome & stood-up to more than two years of desert sun & countless Santa Ana winds. But, you can’t buy replacements, so we’re stuck with this, I guess.Read more

You get what you pay for) it doesn’t save anything dry under it from rain, but it’s good for sunny days! easy to put on gazebo, material is light so I think will be ok for one seasonRead more

Pros – This cover fit my 10 x 10 gazebo perfectly. With a little help from a step stool or ladder to feed it over the top. It’s a very easy cover to install. And while the cover I received is much more burgundy than the red I expected. It still looks pretty good. So far it’s been through a couple of heavy down pours and a wind warning storm. After which, it still looks the same. Of course, any gazebo will only be able to handle so much. But this one at least didn’t have issues getting through it’s first couple of weather tests. Cons – This cover will not keep you dry in anyway shape or form. Rain seems to pretty much just go right through it. Even a mild rain will have the cover speaking moistly to those sitting underneath it. So while I noted above that it held up fine through it’s first couple of weather tests. The fact that a light rain easily penetrates it, makes me a bit concerned about the longevity of the cover. Lastly, the shipping time was terrible. Perhaps this is a result of covid. As I live in Canada and this item ships from the United States. Regardless, it’s still something to consider. This cover, which ships as a Prime item, took 3 weeks to arrive. 2 full weeks past the expected delivery date. So if you need a cover right away, I’d skip this one. Overall for the money, a week into having the cover installed and in place, I’m happy with it so far. If anything changes, I’ll update the review.Read more

It’s the 3rd replacement cover I buy for my gazebo and the first of this brand, usually they last 2 to 3 summer. This one I have doubts it will last 2: – really thin – holes to evacuate water badly placed which makes them useless and water accumulates which pulls on it and will more likely damage it faster – no air vent on the top which means the force from the wind is way stronger and here again, after a couple months under the sun and UV will probably increase the risk of shredding. Otherwise it’s a perfect fit I love the little cords in the corner to help keeping it in place (which all previous ones I had didn’t have and made me have to use a DIY way to do it) Nice looking and nice shadeRead more

i would love to give this a 5 star review because it held up to the wind better than any other canopy i’ve bought. it didn’t tear at all and it fit my 10×10 frame perfectly. i can’t give it 5 stars though because within a few weeks my beautiful dark green cover had faded to a really crappy light brown which was not what i wanted. also it is not at all water resistant. when it rains hard the water pours through the canopy as if it’s not even there. that means i have to put plastic covers over the furniture to keep the cushions dry or bring them inside. not really convenient. i would have sprayed it before i put it up had i known it wasn’t water repellent. next summer i will try to find the one i’ve bought before as it was 100% waterproof and it didn’t fade.Read more

We bought this as a replacement for a SOJAG gazebo. The measurements are BANG on, even though it was not intended for this gazebo. The material is light which makes installation a LOT easier than unfolding canvas over your head. The corners are well built with rope which can be tied around the gazebo’s posts. The vertical ‘lip’ around the gazebo is outfitted with velcro straps which make their way around our steel structure pretty easily. To that note, I think they could have been a bit longer. Contrary to the product pictures, our supporting structure is 4″ aluminum rectangular channel (and not a round bar). Our velcro only overlaps about an inch. In windy conditions, I see this releasing, and for the price of velcro in bulk, I think the manufacturer’s can afford to add another 2 inches to each end of it for a REALLY secure fit….; but then again, it wasn’t made for the rectangular stuff. Maybe in the next version 😛 The square at the gazebo tip is purely aesthetic. It is sewn closed and does not vent (in case you’re gazebo has that split-roof design. This is intended for single pitch only. Other than those comments, I can really say I’m happy with the purchase. Beats the price from the OEM. I could afford to buy this one 5 times over before coming close to the OEM price. I’m happy and you’ll be too. Happy shopping. AndrewRead more
