Works great! I was nervous, since other reviews said it doesn’t hold heat. However, I also read to put boiling water in the thermos for 15 minutes before putting in your food to warm the thermos up. I do this every time and sometimes my daughters food comes home still warm after being gone all day. (She often doesn’t eat ALL the food I pack). It is a little tricker for her to open on her own, it took some practice but she’s only 5. Otherwise does a great job keep food warm!Read more

My daughter had the same exact jar (under a different brand name) and for some reason, the old one was of better quality. This one, the lid doesn’t screw on that easily. It’s like they are cheap plastic materials trying to fit together and it doesn’t quite fit. We haven’t used it yet since it’s the summer, but hopefully it won’t be too much of an issue when we do use it. I hesitate to exchange it because I think any replacement would have the same issue.Read more

My daughter has lunch at 12pm and I make lunch at 7am. So of course I wanted something that will keep her food warm… this container kept her food warm! I just added hot water to the container (while I’m making her lunch) then I dump out the hot water and place the food inside and it stays warm! 5 STARS!!!Read more

I bought this for my autistic child who is super picky with food and will not eat anything at school. I read other reviews and took direction from them. I follow the recommendation to put hot water in it first to get it hot and then empty it and put the warm or hot food in it. My daughter says her food is warm when she eats it and it always comes home empty. I am so happy with this purchase it has really changed lunchtime for my kid. Well we’ve had it for two months now and it’s still working well. And she is able to open it on her own which is great as well. I have not put it in the dishwasher and don’t plan to because I don’t wanna mess anything up.Read more

My son has been using this for school lunch for a week now, specifically with ramen noodles and canned ravioli. I fill it with boiling water (after reading reviews suggesting that) and then last minute I dump it and add his cooked food. I tighten it enough so that it feels secure but he’s still able to easily open it. He said his food is still very hot by the time he has lunch, and we haven’t had any leaks so far. Very happy with it.Read more

My daughter was using this for her lunches to take to school. The first few times it was used it did really well. Now my daughter says it doesn’t keep food hot. It might be warm when she eats. She packed her food hot and it is only in her lunch bag 4 or 5 hours. Now that we know it isn’t working well, it is too late to return or exchange it.Read more

Not at all happy with this product. Used it several times without issue. Then, for no particular reason, it sat unused in my cabinet for 2 months. When I went to use it again, I opened it up and found several rust spots inside. Of course the return window expired so it’s just trash now. I’ll go back to using my Yeti coffee mug for my soups on the go.Read more

It does a poor job at keeping liquids hot or even warm. Looks good and seems to be well made. Just a metal jar with as lid really.Read more

Read more
