These cards are a great value and excellent Bicycle quality cards. My wife loves all things purple, and we both think Unicorns are quite cute, so it was a no-brainer to buy her a deck of these. The back design is delightful, with a Unicorn of multi-colored Rainbow plumage, with a Purple background and White four-leaf clovers. Very stylish! The Spade and Clubs are a very dark Purple. The Hearts and Diamonds are a hot Pink or Fuchsia color. The Court Cards are well matched to their suit colors, with little splashes of other colors. The Jokers are both standard joker, with one a Purple Outline and the other filled-in Purple, with splashes of other color, much the same as the court cards. No guarantee text on either one. The Ace of Spades sports the same Unicorn as shown on the tuck case. Also included is a nice double-backed card that is nice for display, or use as a spare joker. The 56th card is a relatively worthless social media card, used as a cheap marketing ploy. I predict these will sell well after word gets around. We can only hope the United States Playing Card Company has the brains to keep printing these. I, for one, would like to see a version of these with a tuck case not meant for the international market. The extra lettering required for French (meant for the Canada market) just takes away from the appearance of the design. So what are you waiting for? Get yourself a deck today!! My kiddo recently discovered the fun of playing card tricks on people, she had a pretty sad deck hobbled together with various backs, bent, misshapen, cards that had gotten wet and warped. Hop on Amazon and couldn’t really believe that Bicycle made a deck like this. They came quickly and are made with the same level of quality you’d expect from Bicycle. The backing of the cards has the Unicorn design, though the entire deck is not Unicorn themed. You get the classic royal family in all suits. The Ace of Spades has a Unicorn on it. Aside from all the cool art which is perfect for those Unicorn lovers out there, is the color deviation they decided to use for our classic spade/club, diamond/heart. The spades and clubs come in at a very deep purple, almost blue color. I thought they were black at first until I had them under proper lighting. The dimaonds and hearts come in at an almost neon pink, but still somehow maintain a bit of the red color to keep them from being TOO pink. Great deck for the little one, I look forward to being fake awed by her future card tricks.Read more

These are good playing cards. Standard quality, brand name. Maybe a little more pricey than I would like. The box and the backs of the cards have pretty, mostly purple unicorns on them, and I love it. The suit colors are pink and purple, which I also love. But there are no unicorns on the faces of the cards. Only the ace of spades ♠ has a unicorn on it. None of the face cards have any, just the standards royalty images. Why not replace the royalty characters with unicorns? You could even make them unicorns in Royal garb. Or keep the royal characters, but put unicorns in the clothing. Like a unicorn pendant worn by the Queens, or as a herald on the Jack. I was just a little disappointed there weren’t more unicorns on the cards themselves. Seems like a missed opportunity.Read more

We’ve been playing with this deck for the past couple weeks. The cards look lovely, Everyone comments and gets a kick out of the unicorn theme. But that’s where the enjoyment ends. The cards are either plastic or coated with some plastic. It makes shuffling and dealing difficult and more of a chore than it should be. The color combination on the cards can be difficult on the eyes. At least it has been for some people in our group. More than likely these will be relegated to my solitaire decks and use a more traditional deck for groupsRead more

My mother described the color purple that these cards are as “painful to look at, like the printer running out of ink” and proceeded to tell a story of how she opened her eyes in a freshly chlorinated pool and burned her eyeballs in the 70s and this is how these cards make her feel. My wife felt nauseous playing with these cards because the color was “tripping her out” My step-dad and I had no issue and we are only going to play 2 player games from now on. Choose your own adventure.Read more

These Bicycle Unicorn Poker Playing Cards are typical bicycle quality (meaning high quality in my book). These cards are coated, not completely plastic, which I personally actually prefer. The spades and clubs are purple and the diamonds and hearts are pink which may be difficult for some to get use to, but I did not notice any lag in the game, so it was not an issue with my group at least. I also love these cards as the unicorn is the national animal of Scotland.Read more

I purchased the unicorn cards for my 2nd grader. She is doing remote learning and needed a deck of cards for math class. The deck we received was missing the A of diamonds. It did have an extra doubled sided unicorn card so I printed an image of the Ace we were missing and pasted it on the card so that she would have a complete deck for her class. The cards themselves are fine. Very slippery but no other misprints besides the missing card. I did give it 3 stars because a deck isn’t usable will a missing card.Read more

How cute are these??? I love them. I travel a lot, and keep cards on me for passing the time, either by playing Solitaire or random games with random people. These cards have a slick feel, but they aren’t so slippery that they go flying out of your hands. And the design is very colorful and crisp in real life. Love!Read more
