The product photos are inadequate, in that they don’t actually display an image of the access ports to dispense the liquid, additional attachments were required (as shown in my photos attached to this review). I would NOT have purchased the 5 gallon size if I had known about that. In addition to the issues I had trying to get the container open to use the product, once I finally did get it open, it leaked once I screwed in the faucet I had to purchase separately (again, as shown in my photos attached to this review). Finally, after weeks of using the product, I noticed no appreciable lowering of my soil PH. This was a huge waste of my money since the seller refused to refund the purchase, even though I made them aware of the problems I was having from the beginning. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS AS A SOIL AMENDMENT, you’ll just be disappointed.Read more

Definitely need more than GHs PH Down but it’s a very clean formula that mixes in to my reservoir and rdwc system nice and clear. I like this stuff even though i have to use more than with the General Hydroponics, but i don’t care. I will gladly fork over money to a non-Monsanto owned company like Bloom City.Read more

You have to sprinkle this like its fairy magic dust powder it’s that powerful just a few drips from a syringe and the ph is down to 6 from 7.8. My bottle had a issue with the cap gasket after removing the intact seal. I contacted the company about it, but not a reason to remove a star, probably a one of issue. the 32oz should last any average joe a long time, possibly out living the shelf life of the product if there is oneRead more

I am growing microgreens for the first time and the directions on the label were clear enough that I wasn’t worried about how to use it. I purchased a liquid medicine dispenser at Walmart that is in ml so I could accurately measure the ph reducer. My only suggestion would be that perhaps this dispenser could be offered as an add on sale with the ph reducer.Read more

I am having to pour directly from the bottle to drop a 40gal res from 6.6 to 5.8ph. With AN, I have to use an eyedropper for a 40gal res. This may be the weakest ph down concentration Ive ever usedRead more

Check your water source for pH levels. Ours comes in at 7.5 to 8.3, so I only use pH down. Check the water quality report online for free via your municipality’s website. The information is valuable. Also make sure you use a cloramine and chlorine remover as this is also critical to quality grows. You can buy it on Amazon or a local let store.Read more

Was trying a home brew PH down solution, and within 2 days my PH was crazy high again. Got tired of fighting it so I tried this. One full week with 100deg days and my ph was still at 5.5 when I changed my water. A lot less algae in the tank this time as well. Quite happy, lettuce and spinach both look better.Read more
