I purchased two of these. They were add-on items, meaning they were at a discounted price when you have items in your cart totalling $25 to make the shipping worth it. My pup absolutely loves these. She gets these when she’s been good or when she’s bored and I fill up her little Kong toy with them. It’s a great way to give her a toy for a half hour as she figures out how to get them out. They smell like a dog form of beef jerky so my dog is always interested in eating them. They are all natural from a great brand. This is the only brand I feed my dog and she is super healthy, very energetic, has a great fur coat and is a happy girl all around. I would recommend these. Target (and other stores) normally sell them for around $4.99 and amazon constantly has sales on these with prime shipping. This purchase as add ons made them a little over $2 each.Read more

I feed my dog Blue Buffalo food, so I decided to give these a try. My dog doesn’t like their hard treats, but loves these! They are very small but great training treats (and are heart shaped…so cute!). I keep them by the door for when she rings the bell, goes outside, then goes potty. I also bring them in a bag when we go on a walk to train her when we see other people/dogs, as she is a rescue and is scared of other people and animals. Very pleased with these. A brand I trust and nice size treats that my dog is motivated by!Read more

Update 3/13/2022. My husband was workin with our goldendoodle using the Blue Bits for motivational treats. He reached into the bag and pulled out treats AND TWO PENNIES!! We were shocked to see the coins come out of the bag. We didn’t give him any more worried about what other foreign bodies would be in the treats. I am sad that we’ve got to find another chicken free treat. We are praying there were no contaminants in the treat bag that could harm our pup. I’m very disappointed! And request a refund on this bag. I was looking for a chicken free treat for Sir George Harrison O’Malley Strait Darden. He has developed goopy eyes and rather than add meds to his system I thought I would eliminate any possible allergens first. Several other dog lovers suggested eliminating chicken first. There were very few options and this seemed to fit the bill. He LOVES them! He will come to me, offer his paw, high five me, roll over, sit, dance and play dead just to get one. Even if we decide it’s ok for him to be on chicken again, we will continue with these treats. Now the star ratings above were a might difficult to ascertain. I was pleased with the quality of the ingredients so a 5 there. As far as freshness, I could only go on the fact that they were mold free and has a pleasant aroma, so 5 stars there. Now Flavor was a hiccup for me. I asked my hubby to take a nibble, he declined. I asked the lady salesperson trying to sell us solar panels, she declined and made swift exit. My brother in law would probably have taken me up on the request, but he was at work. I’m diabetic and wasn’t sure how the treats would affect my sugar so I was out. So I asked Sir George how many stars would be fair. He enthusiastically answered with five loud barks! So you get a 5 for flavor. We are fans and would definitely purchase again.Read more

My little Frenchie LOVES to eat, and he will literally eat ANYTHING. So I was so excited to buy these treats for him. And the second I opened the bag, he heard food and came running. But when held one out to him, he took a couple of sniffs and backed away. So then when I tossed it on the floor in front of him, he came over and grabbed it in his mouth, then immediately spit it back out. He hated it! I’ve never seen him do that with any other treat before in his entire two years on this earth. Then I found out that the bag is not returnable, even though we’ve had it for less than a day. Thanks a lot, Blue Buffalo for your Customer NO Service. I will definitely NOT be buying or recommending any of your products again in the future.Read more

The dog like these best of all. I have done test where I put out several treats all over the house or in lines, then tell her to go get her treat and she always goes to these first! Even when they are in the back room and we are in the front room when I tell her it is ok to go get her treat. It has our dogs gold star of approval. It is also a great training aid. They are on the expensive side, so I do split them in half for training purposes. The dog does much better in training when I use these as her rewards. I paid the normal Amazon price the day of the purchase. I received no compensation for this review. It is my thoughts and feelings on this product. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW! Have an awesome day and happy shopping.Read more

I got these to use as training treats, where I need something small and chewy instead of crunchy and crumbly. My dog seems to like the taste, but the treats are sized too small for him (he’s an XL doggy)—when I hold out a nugget, he either swallows it whole or knocks it out of my hand trying to find it. Probably just right for smaller dogs.Read more

Make sure you check your bag expiration date. I found it unusual that my dachshund refused to eat this item when it arrived because SHE LOVES BLUE BITS. Her behavior made sense once I realized that the item was expired and the bits had an odd texture. The exp. date was 2/13/18 and I received the item well towards the end of March 2018.Read more

I’m probably weird but I thought these smelled really tasty that I wanted to try them myself (I DIDN’T). Sadly, my puppy does not like these at all and sometimes will just spit them out… Too bad because they seem great for training as they’re very soft and can be broken into 3-5 pieces by hand easily. Also, I’m not sure if it were these treats but they seemed to make her gassy the day after.. I may have some confirmation bias as I originally fed her Blue Buffalo grain-free kibble and it upset her stomach pretty bad.Read more

Bought these for my 1 yr old who has never had a problem with treats before. Gave her 1 piece and she threw up probably the entire contents of her upper digestive tract. 2 days later tried one again and the same thing happened almost immediately. Into the garbage they go.Read more
