That’s what I call her. She does her job very well and keeps me company as I float in my pool and relax. I’ve only had Penny for a little over a week, so I can’t speak to longevity, but she seems well made. Much better than the other generic blue and white floater I bought first, which arrived broken. I saw a couple of reviews that said she wouldn’t sit upright. I do know that you have to first hold her underwater until the tablet container part fills with water and all of the air bubbles are gone, otherwise she’s top-heavy and will fall over. This flamingo is so cute! We wanted a taller chlorine float because the old ones got stuck in our skimmer. This one does not but it does get caught under the ladder of my above ground pool. No matter though. We’ve used it with 1” and 3” chlorine tabs. Floats really well as long as the bottom is fully extended and we turn it to the side to fill it with water. So cute. Decent quality. After getting enough tabs in it to keep it off the steps, it now floats around nicely. I wish it was color fast. It was very pink when I bought it and now it is light pink. Not sure it will last long after it becomes a white flamingo. It is a little difficult to screw the top into the tab holder piece.Read more

Worked at first. Then as others have pointed out, found it at bottom of pool. Area under Flamingo fills with water making it top heavy. Tried drilling holes in cap so as to balance water flow. Worked for a day. Then back to bottom of pool. Waste of money.Read more

I received this item two days ago. I went out this morning and it had sunk to the bottom of the pool. The pink body is completely filled with water. The only place I see water coming out when I shake it, is a toothpick size hole at the end of the beak.
