NIOSH approved N95 masks made in USA are comfortable to wear and easy to adjust. Before ordering I went to the NIOSH website to make sure these model F95W masks from BNX are on the approved listing, and they definitely are. The 20 masks come packed in one sealed plastic bag with an instruction card showing care and how to put them on and adjust them properly. They smell clean with no odd odors or chemical smells. The straps are very stretchy and seem to be well attached to the masks. When worn the straps hold the masks firmly in place. After putting a mask on and adjusting it I was able to speak without the mask moving or slipping. No mask is fun to wear, but these make the process just a bit easier. Highly recommended.Read more

These are actual made-in-USA NIOSH-approved N95 masks, so they’re more expensive than the KN95 masks I’ve been using. I find these more comfortable than the KN95 with ear loops, and it’s easier to shape these so that my breath goes through the mask instead of up and into my eyes. I can’t see why this design would be better in that respect, but it is. I also find the behind-the-head straps more comfortable than ear straps. I’m glad to have gotten these.Read more

I tried saving money by buying these instead of the 3M masks, and the difference is not worth the price savings in my opinion. First, they are not individually wrapped so have to be kept in a ziplock bag, or the opened bag they came in. Second, I noticed a pretty strong chemical odor the moment I put the mask on that did eventually dissipate, or I got used to it, but it was not pleasant. Third, I could not get the nose piece to hug my nose tight enough so my glasses fogged up with every breath. The piece of metal also is not cushioned so trying to press it down to create a tight seal meant that the metal piece hurt the bridge of my nose, and I still couldn’t get it tight enough to not fog my glasses. For those who complain that these run small, there are two sizes. If you have a large face make sure you aren’t ordering the small/medium. I have a small face so the fit around my head and coverage of nose and mouth was fine.Read more

I like these BNX N95 masks. For me personally it is a very snug fit which of course is quite protective but for long term wear of five hours or more a tiny bit uncomfortable. Fits snug to the nose so my glasses don’t fog up which is a plus. Also stays away from my nose and easy to breathe in. Great protection but might fit better on a smaller face than mine.Read more

I hate masks, but I found the KN95 the most tolerable… UNTIL NOW – these are better. A few reasons: 1. They use two head straps, rather than ear straps. I’ve found that the ear straps tend to shrink on the shelf, even if individually wrapped, and if they’re small they hurt after a while (like on a plane). With two head straps, these can shrink a little without giving trouble. 2. The shape is spacious, like my KN95s, though shaped differently. I think it’s the interior space that makes them more comfortable than the blue “surgical” masks. You don’t feel like you’re breathing “through” something. 3. It’s the real deal – the N95. This is the only mask, as far as I’ve read, that actually is made for true protection from viral load. So if you’re going to wear one, it may as well be this. I also like that they’re made in the USA. No, I love that. Glad to have them. Hope not to need them much longer.Read more
