I bought these because I didn’t want to spend more money on first-party joycons after mine started experiencing drift. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised in the build quality overall. Pros: – A real D-pad (already a big plus over joycons) – firm, clicky buttons – Larger + and – buttons (much easier to click than joycons) – Fits the “Joy-Con Grip Accessory” perfectly (the thing that comes with a Switch to put your joycons in) – Accurately reports individual charge levels (sometimes an issue with third party controllers) – CAN WAKE THE SWITCH UP (definitely not common in 3rd party controllers) Cons: – slight travel in the triggers before clicking (will probably become more natural after some use) – bumper buttons require more force to click (will also probably become better after some use) Overall, my complaints are so minor they might as well not even be there. I honestly like these more than first party joy-cons because of the real d-pad. Highly recommend as a half-price joy-con alternative!!Read more

So the controllers feel very quality, and the d pad is fantastic but it also claims good vibration but its honestly awful i might just turn it off. Its just a buzz feeling and its especially bad when you hold it down like for using it for automatic guns in a game or something.Read more

Says it all in the title. Just got these in. When I tried them out, I immediately noticed how squeaky (as in, literally) and sticky (not immediately resetting to neutral after being pressed) the face buttons are. To top it off, the right controller started getting uncomfortably warm after I disconnected it from the switch. I’ll try to return it to Amazon, if I can find a courier that will accept items with batteries (from outside the US). I contacted the manufacturer (YCC) for help. To be fair, they replied promptly, but asked me for a video of the issue. I’m not sure I will be able to effectively demonstrate the problem with a video, so I’m not sure if it’s worth the trouble. UPDATE: Managed to get a partial refund (50%) for the faulty right controller.Read more

The left Joy con is bowed in the front and back slightly and pops off without pushing the release button. The right Joy con “B” button sticks about every third press and affects gameplay. I tried to return and the seller said there were no replacements and to try to get a refund from Amazon. Amazon, being awesome, refunded me the money when they probably didn’t have to. Thanks Amazon, no thanks to the seller.Read more

At first I thought they were great. They connected automatically and stayed connected, but when I went to finally charge them a month later (I normally use the originals) and they dont charge. I am so disappointed and upset over this. Make sure it charges before leaving a reviewRead more

The A,B,X,Y buttons stopped working arm free a week. They work intermittently. These would probably work well for them based games but not fast games like fortnite.Read more
