   I purchased this for my special needs daughter that LOVES music and this had most of her favorite songs. Between the lights and the singing, it keeps her entertained. I like that there are people actually singing the songs versus just musical melodies. This motivates my daughter to sing along with it. Plus, there are several songs on the toy, so its never annoying to have her play with it continuously. Moreover, it is super soft. Definitely her favorite birthday gift this year! I would highly recommend it for any children that love the featured songs.Read more

   The pillow is adorable and incredibly soft, but yikes – the singing voice is LOUD and so obnoxious (not great for a tired mom of an infant!), and the lights only work part of the time. Sometimes you can’t even turn the thing off with the button; I’ve had to remove the batteries multiple times just to get the lights to turn off. I bought the same product from a different seller on Amazon for half the price (it was shipped directly from China), but returned that one because it wouldn’t light up or sing. Now that I know that the lights don’t work right and the songs are unbearable to listen to, I wish I would’ve kept that one and saved some money. The pillow itself is so cute and soft, but definitely not worth the price :(.Read more

   Pros: My disabled granddaughter fell in love with soft music and lights. Button easy for her to work. Cons: I HAD TO CHANGE BATTERIES EVERY 10 DAYS!! The good batteries! Regular batteries last a week. Store brand less than that!! And this was with only night use!! She cried without it, so I kept ordering this star (and similar ones) until I could replace it with a totally different musical light up toy. If the makers would somehow make the power supply more efficient, I would try it again.Read more

   Bought this for 14 month old foster child who loves Little Baby Bum on Netflix. He had never liked stuffies before this, but I was determined to provide him with some kind of comfort item before sleep training. It worked and within days he fell in love. He only knows about 4 words but “star” soon became the 5th. I ask “where is star”? And he looks everywhere. I was so happy. Then as other reviewers have mentioned, the battery drain is insane. But he loved it so much I didn’t care. At that time he didn’t even know how to turn it off and on himself at that time. I love the lights in most instances. They look cool. Almost like Christmas lights all inside. When we drive at night I can put it in his lap and it’s like a night light in car. But I find them too bright to turn on when I lay him down. I thought the star was smaller but it’s not. It makes a perfect pillow for him. Now it’s a month later and it’s broken already. I went in the other night to check on him when he had awoken and was crying. He’d figured out how to turn the lights on himself but I couldn’t get the lights to turn back off. Took about 10 attempts. That has happened twice now so I’m not going to replace batteries again. And now he’s in love with his star so it’s going to be a hassle to return it because he can’t sleep without it. I will try once again but I see I’m not the first person to have this problem. PS I do not find music “creepy” or think it’s too loud. There was one song I didn’t know. I thought maybe it was in Spanish. But now someone else posted a song list (I didn’t receive that) and it seems to me “Dos Re Mi” (spelling?).Read more

   My 17mo old absolutely adores this toy. This star is super soft, has a beautiful light display, decent song variety, and Is still holding up after many many uses. The only draw back I have experienced is the battery consumption. It doesn’t have an automatic timer on this toy so the lights will not go off unless you manually press the button to turn them off which drains the batteries. The songs however play one at a time and automatically shut off after each song. An excellent addition to her toy collection.Read more

   My child loves this toy and will not go to bed without it. If she wakes up from a bad dream she turns the music on to comfort her. Battery pack easily accessed for changing batteries that could be a good or bad thing depending on how inquisitive your child is but none the less she loves it.Read more

   Looked at probably EVERY brand of these there was for my grandbabies, a 1yr old lil girl, and an 8mo old little girl, and we got the purple and yellow. I am pleasantly surprised at the quality and thickness of it! The colors are vibrant, and the music is a tad loud – my only “complaint”, but u can turn it off. The babies are in love, and that means its five stars from us, if ur looking for one of these type toys… just buy it already! I do like that it has seperate buttons for the power, then lights and music. Also its nice because u can turn the music off and just leave the lights on, which is what we did with the 8mo old’s one. It also comes with an attached ribbon,band thats really handy because it enabled us to hang it above the bed at bedtime.Read more

   Pillow is super soft! My baby loves the colors. The music not so much lol one song is…creepy, which is the nice way to put it. The music and lights are times so I believe the lights turn off automatically after 15 mins, great not wasting the batteries.Read more

    I bought one of these a week ago, it broke within two days, toddler was gutted because she loved it. And I just bought another one, and it’s broken within a day. “Dad the star is broken” and tears. What an awful product. So much potential but it’s clearly cheap, mass produced rubbish.Read more
