This product does not work – plain and simple. My wife grows tomatoes and other vegetables in our backyard. When she brings in her harvest, there is usually a contingent of fruit flies and mosquitos that would love to enjoy her harvest and our blood. I bought this product based on all the misleading “positive” reviews posted. Unfortunately, the unit just doesn’t work at all. When I received this product, I turned it on and left it beside a box of fruit and tomatoes that my wife harvested for about a week and not a single fruit fly or mosquito even visited the unit for a zap. After a few frustrating days, I placed a small jar filled with apple cider and a few drops of soap right next to this unit (we got this recipe online). The cider worked and killed a bunch of fruit flies while this unit didn’t zap a single insect. The mosquitoes ignored both this product and the cider and still managed to bite us. I noticed dozens of posted reviews of this products simply showed a video rotating this product like a “runway model” so it must be postings from the manufacturer or biased (paid) reviewers. These postings are unreliable and misleading. The advertising and specs for this product are misleading and inaccurate — it does not deliver on its promise to kill any insects. But it does serve as a nice nightlight only and will not kill any insects. I’m returning this product after over a week of ineffectiveness. Don’t waste your money or time on this product.Read more
