I bought this wildflower Monarch butterfly sanctuary mix for 75% off about two months ago in a tractor supply store. I planted them in June, and last week the plants started blooming beautiful yellow, orange, and purple flowers. I don’t have experience gardening. Some plants are much taller than others and some are not enjoying the parts that are full sun, as it is too harsh, but I am hoping the pollinators are thankful. I sure can’t wait for it to fill out.

I cannot begin to tell you the joy that this bag of wildflower seeds have brought to my life. It’s been a tough year and my wildflower garden has been my heaven. Hummingbirds, butterflies, dragonflies, bumblebees and so much more life has been attracted to my front porch. Everyone comments on my flowers and what a greenthumb I must be. Not at all, I sowed the seeds and water them, daily!! I can’t recommend this mix highly enough.Read more

Seeds need really good soil and nice warm sunny days to germinate outside. I highly recommend preparing your soil by tilling and adding in organic matter. I couldn’t get a good germination crop outside so, I brought it inside…. using upcycled meat containers, fill with about an inch of potting mix, sprinkle the seeds, water, place covered on a heating pad. When they are about 2 inches tall, move them outside and plant them in sheets. This is my end result.Read more

I wasn’t too sure about these at first. I figured maybe I got scammed but I have little experience with buying a big mixed bag of flowers like this. Long story short I quite literally slammed a few handfuls of the seeds and materials on the bare spots in my garden and walked away and in about 2-3 weeks I have a load of sprouts up. Totally forgot these guys were growing. I like anything idiot proof and this is that thing. Hopefully it’ll bring some nice flowers for me later this season.Read more

Well, I will admit – I did not follow directions. And I have never had better success! I threw the seeds on the ground and the germination was amazing! I had patches of wildflowers where I threw the seeds. I even added new soil to 4 large planters on my front porch. Threw seeds on top and had amazing, tall flowers blooming till I emptied the planters to put out Halloween decorations.Read more

Planted as recommended, watered regularly…nothing came up after 1st week and gallons of water, 2nd week; nothing, 3rd week; nothing, 4th wk; 5 lazy susan’s and that was it brother. What a wasted of time, water, and money. Don’t buy this, just go out and strip some wildflowers and you will do much better.Read more

I’ve been impressed by these enough I wanted to come back and do a review. We wanted something simple to plant to bring some life to the area where we buried the ashes of our late, beloved dog, and wildflowers seemed appropriate given him. I’d had some trouble with another brand (though to be fair that might have been planting error where we planted the seeds too deep), so I tried these; though it was a little too late in the year to get blooms I think, its sprouted a lot of vigorous and really pretty attractive foliage, without anything but basic planting and some water. If the flowers are anywhere as nice as the foliage, good seeds.Read more
