The product is really easy to use because you literally just plug it in but unfortunately it does not give me a stable connection to the internet. I work from home so being hardwired to the internet is crucial and I miss out on so much work time because the internet cuts off even though it is hardwired so there are intermittent periods where I’m left in somewhat of a dead space until the connection is made again. At first it was not that bad I thought that maybe it was a glitch and I restarted my modem and checked all of my connections but it did not work and now the problem has gotten worse. These are fantastic. They have a mini CDROM mount that pops up from a chip on the device which you can tap in the drivers. Works 100 percent of the time on any machine I have tried it on. NO one else does this. I have a mountain of these little USB adaptors with no drivers. When a machine doesn’t have any network connection, I know this will always work.Read more

I want to return this, but it’s past the date. This item is a pain to work with. I even downloaded the current driver from their web site. Once you get it installed, it works. HOWEVER, if you then DISABLE it (in Windows), it disappears from the list of network interfaces. Here you’ve got a USB NIC plugged, and you just want it DISABLE, but it’s gone. It does NOT even show up in DEVICE MANAGER. At this point, I don’t know what I need to do to get it back. Unplugging it and re-plugging it in does not work. This is a piece of junk as far as I’m concerned. I wasted my money. I also bought a gigabit version of this, and I expect that won’t work well either. I should’ve just opened up the box and put in another NIC. But I thought this would be easier.Read more
