I’ll post this review hoping it will help someone because I was puzzling over whether this would fit my guitar. I bought this for a Takamine GD20-NS, (dreadnought) and it fits fine for me. I see some say that a dread is a bit snug. I can see what they mean, in particular at the bottom of the case (see picture.) First, some dimensions of the guitar: Overall length: 41-1/8” Width of body at lower bout: 15-13/16” Depth of body at endpin: 4-7/8” In the case, and held upright, there is about 1-1/2″ of play between the top inside of the case, and the top of the headstock. Held on its side, at the lower bout area there is about 3/4″ of play. For me, that’s fine. If you look at the bottom of the case in the picture, the case expands to accommodate the 4-7/8” depth at the endpin. The actual seams are about 4-1/4” apart. While the case is not actually squeezing the guitar, the depth of the guitar is outside the seams. Personally, I do not have a problem with this. I can see where some may call this “snug”, but I’m not uncomfortable with it. It zips up fine. Also, some dreadnoughts may differ slightly in dimensions, depending on manufacturer, etc. But this is probably the biggest guitar I’d want to put into this case, depth-wise. Reality check: This case was $20. It’s basic protection. Let’s face it; this is not a flight case. This is marketed as a sort of universal case which can accommodate a few different sizes. Dreads are bigger guitars. I tried my smaller classical guitar in this, and it’s kind of swimming in it. I think the padding is adequate for careful handling. The quality of this case is very good, and most especially considering the price tag. I’ll use this for storage at home, and even to carry from place to place. But I would not use this to throw into the back of a van with all sorts of equipment knocking around. This is obviously not the case for a really expensive guitar. But bottom line, I received exactly what I expected: An inexpensive case for basic protection when the guitar is not either on its stand, or better yet, in my hands being played.Read more

Normally I don’t give a product 5 stars unless I find it exceptional. But knowing that this is an inexpensive item, I could not find a flaw that would made me drop a star or two. Recently I acquire an inexpensive acoustic electric by Carlo Robelly. Coming from playing electric guitar, I wanted an acoustic that be comfortable, that feels like and electric and that I could connect to my existing equipment. The guitar did not came with a gig bag, I bought it for just $140 new. I took a chance on this $15 bag and it did not disappointed. exacly as adverticed, my guitar with 3 inch depth fit well and it came with 10 free picks. On the photos above the one with the bag has the guitar inside of it.Read more

Well, not sure what I was expecting for $20, but I guess I was expecting a little more than this. For starters, they pack/ship this thing as tight as they possibly can. Fully rolled up inside of a small bag. This wouldn’t matter too much if it didn’t also deform the bag and make it look like garbage after. Even with a guitar inside, it still looks wonky from being rolled up so tight. Second, this really is more for an electric, or thin body acoustic guitar. A standard sized acoustic guitar fits, but just barely as it’s a really tight squeeze. Regarding the overall quality of the bag, you get what you pay for. It’ll protect your guitar from very basic damage (light dings, scratches, etc.), but it won’t do much beyond that. I bought this just to protect my guitar during a move, and wasn’t expecting amazing quality, but I was expecting a bag that was appropriately sized and not messed up from inadequate shipping.Read more

I’ve only carried my guitar in this case about 25 times and every seem is already ripped. I understand it’s a cheap bag, but I don’t understand how this happened to my bag yet there are so many positive reviews. I just want people to see that even highly rated items on Amazon can be problematic. If you care about your guitar, buy a better bag…I’m too scared to use my bag anymore because with these rips it seems the guitar could fall at anytime and get busted on the floor.Read more

Despite the item description, this is really designed for electric guitars, not acoustic. That said, my auditorium (000) acoustic fits–snugly, but it fits. (My Seagull S6 barely fits; I’d suggest something bigger for a standard dreadnought.) Very little padding/cushioning. I would recommend something sturdier for travel, but this will be fine for at-home storage. I like the fairly plain design (I don’t like providing free advertising for bag brands). I wish the zipper opened farther (i.e., around the bottom of the body). Materials/construction seem quite decent for this price. If you mainly need a dust-cover for a medium-body guitar, this will do just fine.Read more

Just received this gig bag. Initially impressions are very positive. Considering the price this seems like a well made bag. Stitching seems decent, there is light padding on front, back and sides, overall good quality. As a light duty gig bag for storing a guitar at home and occasional trips out it should be fine. If you’re out gigging every day I would look elsewhere. Again consider the price. The dimensions listed on the website are accurate. This bag fits my Fender CC-60S perfectly. The CC-60S is a grand concert sized guitar (and a FANTASTIC value BTW). It should fit most concert / auditorium/ folk sized guitars. I also have a full sized dreadnought guitar which I test fitted in this bag. It did fit, but just barely. Extremely tight and the zipper was straining to close. If you are buying this bag for a dreadnought you might want to look elsewhere.Read more

La funda es bonita y cabe bien la guitarra acústica. Excelente precio. Lo único es que las costuras en uno de los bordes se ven algo expuestas y en algún momento no sé si se van a descoser. No pienso usarla demasiado a menudo, así que espero me dure.Read more

Well, what to expect at this price? Simply just a thin cover with no padding to protect the guitar. Maybe good for electric guitar but not acoustic ones. I suggest buy from reputable brands.Read more
