I have several large breed dogs with long full hair commonly referred to as “ German shedders “. With the weather changing they are all shedding like crazy and my house is full of hair, every day I get enough hair out of the vacuum to create a whole new dog. So, what I’m doing now is applying some peanut butter and yoghurt onto the lick mat and I set it on the ground outside and I brush each dog as long as it takes them to lick the mat clean ( usually about 20 minutes). One of my dogs really dislikes being brushed and she flattens herself to the ground as if she is being tortured

These work well for putting peanut butter on them or other things and having our dog lick them for treats and temporarily stop her licking other things, but it doesn’t help her stop licking things more permanently. This also doesn’t really help with her anxiety like other things we have found and used. These are easy to wash and clean and have very good suction for sticking to the floor or the wall and such.Read more
