We are a family of 8, and my husband insisted on getting an 8-person camping tent for our camping trip in the summer. I found this tent at a great price even though it only says tent for 6 people. I’ve also been looking for a tent that allows for fast and easy set up and take down. My memories of going camping when I was little involved multiple people working a very long time to set up and take down a tent. This one comes with literally 2 poles, each pole is retractable so the parts don’t get lost, and I just had to spring one on top of another until the whole pole is complete. Then, I just stick each into the sleeves in a cross and pin each corner down with a stake. Very similar to setting up a kid’s tent, simple, just much bigger. It says requires 2 people for assembly but I can literally do it myself. Between reading the instructions and getting it to stand up, it did take me a little longer than 10 minutes but I’m a female, average height, not at all strong, and the tent is really tall and big compared to me. Also, all 8 of us (2 adults and 6 kids) fit comfortably inside this spacious tent, so I’m happy about that. The poles and fabric are made of good quality, and all rolled in a nice compact carrying bag that I can carry over my shoulders, not too heavy. I recommend to place the rainfly on top of the sleeves and the tent before setting it up, so that you can secure both the tent and the rainfly at the same time, because if you do the tent first then place the rainfly on top, it will be more difficult to drape it over the tip of the tent. The rainfly also gives it a nice shade to keep the tent cool inside, so I like to keep it on anyway rain or shine.Read more

Recently took this on a camping trip that had some unexpected rain hit us. Not only was this tent great for the hot weather but when it came to keeping us dry, we were dry and safe in our tent. Even with mud and a lot of other tents that were drenched, we were completely dry and was still able to open front panel to allow some air in but still kept dry. When the rain stopped, I checked the top where the cover was and not only was there no water, I could clearly see that the water that was falling on it was just beading right off. We did lay a tarp underneath this tent and even with some water nearby, this tent was still dry and kept all of our sleeping bags and blankets dry. When it comes to it being warm outside, this tent is perfect as it allowed the breeze to still come through and keep us cool throughout the day and night that we were inside. The tent itself is really easy to setup and take down. This does come with a carrying bag and normally I’m never able to completely fold a tent down to fit it back in a bag but with this tent, I was able to do so. The stakes that come with this tent are very strong and don’t pull out easily which is great when wind is blowing. We’ve used this tent on several camping trips and even in our backyard and not matter where we use this tent, it keeps us cool and dry. Not to mention, the very middle of this tent stands at about 6ft high so there’s no need to constantly be crawling through this tent. I will start by mentioning that it is much better than I expected, the quality is very good, it is a perfect space inside for my family that we are four people, two adults and two children, there is more space for two more adults I think . It can be assembled very easily, personally it takes me 15 minutes or maybe 20. Very resistant to water and wind in addition to isolating the sun’s rays very well. One last tip: keep in mind when unpacking it so when they return it to its packing bag they can easily re-saw it, it was a bit complicated for me because of how excited I was to use it lol. Voy a comenzar mencionando que es mucho mejor de lo que yo esperaba, la calidad es muy buena, es espacio en el interior perfecto para mi familia que somos cuatro personas, dos adultos y dos niños, es más sobra espacio para dos adultos más creo yo. Se la puede ensamblar muy fácil, en lo personal me tarde 15 minutos o tal ves 20. Muy resistente al agua y al viento además aísla muy bien los rayos del sol. Un último consejo: tener presente al momento de desempacarla para cundo la regresen a su bolsa de empaque la puedan volver a serrar fácilmente, a mi se me complicó un poco por lo emocionado que estaba por usarla lol.Read more

Easy setup. Takes 2 people to make it easier. Husband was able to stand in it. Plenty of room for 2 cots, dog bed and bags. On 3rd night out, we got a rain storm and the tent help up good. No leaks and wind did not pull up tent cords. Only thing about it is the door does not open across bottom. So you have to unzip whole door to get out.Read more

I had one small tent but it broke, so this is my first purchase of such a big camping tent. Installation was not bad. We set it up in the yard to make sure all goes fine before heading to the camp site. Waterproof and it has screen that makes better air flow. Very roomy. Comes with extra stakes. It also have a little bag for extra hanging storage. Poles looks lightweight but can do the job without problem. Best thing is there is a little hole for easy access of electric outlet cable that could be kept in the tent for phone charging. It also has a storage bag that could be easily carry on your shoulder.Read more

Overall the tent is of good quality material, plenty of space inside large enough for 6 adults. Put the tent together with a friend with no problems. Only complaint I have is that the instructions could of been a little more descriptive. Definitely a great a tent for a great price.Read more

Very easy to set up. Packaged well and easy to get back in packaging. First night used we had an unexpected downpour—we remained dry & comfy. We put two queen size air mattresses in this tent with a little room to spare in between. Highly recommend this tent!Read more
