As you can see in the photo, the cord sparked up and left burn marks. I never write reviews, just thought i should share to prevent other buyers from the potential danger of this cord. I am not sure where to write to Amazon, so i am using this as my outlet to raise the issue.Read more

I will add photos in a bit. This cord literally warped with heat and my house smelt of burnt plastic. I bought this one year ago or so. I’m super lucky I was home and paying attention and an adult. I need a refund.Read more

It’s literally what it says on the tin. Look at the picture, then look at it again, then go “yeah, I need an extension cord with three outlets that has a three feet cord.” Then order it, and be happy about it. Cause it’s an extension cord, it does what it does. If you happen to find yourself needing a different amount of outlets or a longer cord… i shouldn’t have to explain how that works, you shouldn’t be allowed to play with electricity if you don’t. Wonderful extension cord.Read more

It’s fine. But it’s a personal thing. If you mind the plug to be a giant round 3 pronged plug, on a funny angle of the circural plug you put into your socket, you may mind this extension cord. My sockets are all full. This big round off center plug for the wall socket really bugs me, crams up the plug and other cords by kinda twisting due to the off center of the cord attached to the big round plug. Not uncommon. I just avoid them and didn’t realize this particular extension cord had the widely used round plug (I have no reason to think there is anything unsafe with the design. I’ve just decided, usually at Christmas time (putting up lights) that I get annoyed quickly with this normal style, and won’t buy in the future. Otherwise s fine extension cord and no fault to manufacturer I know of. I hate the round plugs.Read more

This extension is the perfect length and the depth of the wall plug is excellent: it’s very flat, almost as slim as the baseboard. But it also has a couple issues. The plugs on the extension board are VERY small. By this I mean you can’t plug/unplug things easily because the space is too tight. I don’t know if they were cutting corners with materials or what but it’s some serious effort to push something into or pull something out of the extension board. It’s so difficult, I cut myself on the board because I was trying so hard to unplug a simple iPhone charger. Also, there’s no on/off switch on these cables so once it’s plugged in, it’s hot and current is running. So when you do cut yourself from all the effort it takes to push something into or pull something out of the extension board, you’ll bleed into hot current. It’s not a fun time. All that said, it does work.Read more

Having 3 plugs all inline isn’t terribly convenient, and it wasn’t until we tried to plug in a power adapter that it was clear how beneficial the more common design of 2 plugs on one side, 1 plug on the opposite. Having one on the other side makes it easier to have one odd size plug and still have 2 open, but with this design with all three plugs in a row, there’s no way to use all three plugs if you have any that are not “standard” size That aside, the flat plug has made it easier to plug this in the wall behind the couch, but I’d probably search for a plug that has the outlets configured differently next time.Read more

So the rated watts from this is 1650 watts or something like that. I can confirm a 1100 watt microwave cannot run at full power with this connected. I do not have anything else on the connector and the microwave does run, just at reduced wattage. I can confirm it’s not my outlet as I tested it on the outlet and it runs fine. So apart from that I had no issues. This thing works great as long as it’s not a microwave. I’ve literally bought 6 of these and I use them all on everyone of my outlets except my workstation. I am very happy with my purchase so thank you. The extension is a life saver and it’s very well designed.Read more

Read more
