These are really good binders for a reasonable price. I hate ordering binders online, because I prefer ones with the rings attached to the back cover, not the spine. Many times, it is hard to tell from the product photos or the description about this small detail that makes a big difference (to me). These had really good pictures, and I could see that the rings were not attached on the spines. I trusted the pictures, ordered some, and they arrived identical to the photos. Very happy with my purchase.Read more

My low rating is because of inaccurate information listed for this product. I agree my circumstances are unique, but I relied on the inaccurate information which led to my buying decision. Accurate information would have kept me from purchasing this item. We have a built-in bookcase in our kitchen for cookbooks and 3 ring binders of collected recipes. My wife wanted to get new 3 ring binders, some are 30 years old. Our bookshelf has an 11″ depth. Her current 3 ring binders are 10.5″ deep. She went to the office supply store and bought new ones. They don’t fit, they are too “deep”. I bought some at Sam’s Club, same problem. I shopped Amazon and looked at a ton of binders. Then I found this listing and the specifications for these binders indicated they were 10.38″ deep. Perfect!! I ordered them. They are NOT 10.38″ deep, they are 11.5″ deep (same size as Sam’s Club binders but not as good of quality as SC). So, hence, if you had listed accurate information, I would not have bought them!!Read more

I had no idea what a D-ring was when I bought it. It’s half-square, half-round. Naturally, I started feeding papers from the square side, and had great difficulty. Now that you mention it, these seem kinda flimsy. I will have to be gentle with them. Update: These smell very strongly of mildew. I had an allergy attack, and had to call for an ambulance. I had nothing to eat or drink, and had to use an epi-pen. I have no proof, but suspect the binders. Will be returning.Read more

Good binders for a good price… except that the rings are not the standard distance apart. The sheet protectors I purchased to use in these barely makes it to the top & bottom rings. That makes the turning of pages problematic. Also, the Avery durable plastic tab separators I purchased to use in these have the same ring hole fit issue AND because the rings’ flat side is angled instead of perpendicular they don’t reach the edge of the sheet protectors. I would only buy these binders if you have an adjustable 3-hole punch and you don’t plan on putting anything else in the binder besides the actual paper pages.Read more

After many years of college & countless binders, I’m practically an expert at picking efficient school supplies out! These are solid. They showed up as described. ‼️Downside: I don’t think you can put very many papers in the inside pockets though—I’d say maybe no more than 5 thin pages in the inside pockets before it starts to cause problems with the pocket integrity. If you try to put more in, it will likely stretch it out or rip it. I like the design overall, and the way the rings open. They are quite easy to open, and not a pain like others.Read more

I was really looking forward to these so that I could clean up the “Family Binder” which had grown from 2 adults and 1 child to a family of 6 over the course of a few years. Needless to say, everyone now needs their own binder. I was pretty disappointed to find one of the four binders bent on the spine straight out of the box. When I buy a brand new item, I expect it to arrive undamaged, otherwise I would have vouched for a used item and taken my chances.Read more

Why I don’t prefer to buy this product. A4 paper just fit inside. Edges won’t be well protected. If you want to provide a sheet protector for A4 sheet, then this product won’t suite for that. I have to return this twice as there’s bend marks over one or the other binder. I literally don’t know how this product got this much ratings!!! For this price you’ll get better products. NB: Purely my opinion.Read more

The media could not be loaded. The holders are perfectly sturdy and good quality. The only problem with it is the fact that it’s not “exactly” A4. It’s a little shorter and wider than an A4 sheet. So if you’re buying this to add documents which are A4, it might be a problem. And if you’re a collector or any sort, or want to use it as an album for Photocards or postcards or just photographs in general, you’d have to get custom sheets/sleeves for the same. Strangely this binder does not fit A4 paper size. DO NOT BUY if it is for A4 papers. What is worse is that amazon has a no return policy on this and the description is not at all clear regarding A4 size fit. I tried returning the item and talking to amazon supervisor. However as per Amazon, the customer service has to reject all claims for a refund no matter what the problem with the product is or how it does not serve the customer needs, which is a bit unfair. Moreover the product is from Amazon basics, so it should have been easier for them to process a return but they have refused to do so as matter of policy. To be frank, I have always liked the service from amazon however in this instance the experience is a sour one.Read more

They are good binders. I like how there is a plastic cover(pocket) to be able to label the front back and side of the binder. There is also pockets to put paper in the inside of the back and front cover. They open and close well, and hold paper perfectly. Overall I’m pretty impressed with amazon basics products, don’t seem to be cheap or low quality compared to other store brands.Read more
