I cannot believe I am writing a review about spiral notebooks. I honestly can’t. However, I’m a grad student and the perforations in these notebooks are the absolute worst. If you ever want to clearly take a sheet of paper out of a spiral notebook, then don’t buy these. The perforations could not be any worse, I swear. It’s like they’re purposefully trying to make my problem sets look even worse than they already do.Read more

I knew when I purchased these that they weren’t a great deal, but they were the best reviewed, affordable, notebooks on Amazon. When did these get so expensive? It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just as basic as it gets. I get that it’s amazon basics, but that shouldn’t compromise quality. This, however, feels very flimsy. It’s extremely bendable, and I imagine it would bend easily in a backpack. If your children treated these books like a lot of young kids do (bending, shoving in a backpack), then I would spend a little extra for a quality book. If you’re like me, and just needed some notepads around the house for making lists, this does the job. I wouldn’t use this for serious note taking. I will keep it, but will not repurchase. I think a better price point for this pack of 5 would have been $6.99, as the quality of the notebook is that of a notebook that costs about $1.40.Read more

What can I say? It’s a notebook…I will say that the actually paper is great quality. I’ve purchased notebooks in recent years where the paper is thin and pretty flimsy and isn’t quite white and the lines are super light. This is thick white paper, the lines are bright, and the covers are solid. I also have this in college rolled and have purchased one of the graphic notebooks and the 5 pack of graphic paper that is graphed front and pack and sealed at the top for single sheet tear off. They are definitely putting out some great products.Read more

These were a compromise. I wanted a 4-5 subject college ruled notebook, but they were no where to be found. I also didn’t want to pay all outdoors for it. I found these for cheap in a search. I’m doing a personal project, not for credit, no notes to be turned in, so the none college rule was non issue. They are wire bound with thin wire, the covers are flimsy apologies for cardboard, but the price was right. Planning paper when I need it, notes on things to remember, scut work, lists. I wouldn’t buy these for kids, they would be shredded in no time flat. They are fine for most adults, the paper is thin, guaranteed to bleed through, & ball point shadows but for my personal use it’s fine. It’s scut paper, keep by the phone for messages, write lists, write, directions, leave notes for others, plan out a meal, an activity, a project, organize your thoughts. It’s paper for when you need paper, not your IPhone. Somethings don’t belong on electronic media. MaryAnn Coy-Schuerger.Read more

So, I’ve been using these notebooks to hand-write my novel… it works for me, because when I go to type the thing up I can catch the the obvious typos/plot holes/etc; it’s basically the first pass of editing. I’d say this these notebooks so far are pretty sturdy-by this point with the ones I’d get in the store, they’d be falling apart (literally!, I’d be needing tape just to hold the notebook together). This one is just creased and bent and a bit inkstained. :)Read more

Being visually impaired sometimes can be a challenge for me. Little things such as a notebook with wide lines can be challenging to find. These notebooks are excellent and are sturdy, a good value, durable and will last me a few months. Most happy that I found these on Amazon and they were delivered to my door with Prime. Most highly recommended and will buy again.Read more

Don’t expect these to have an ultra-strong cover or be anything other than basic notebooks. That is exactly what they are. I use this type of notebook in my job to make notes that I keep for a long length of time and these are an inexpensive alternative to buying them at a big box store and spending twice as much on a set of 5. As long as you don’t have high expectations for them being a sturdy substitute, they’ll work fine for most uses.Read more

The pages will not tear free without repeated folding, what is the point of having a perforation along the page edge if it doesn’t work.Read more

The paper is perfectly mediocre. For the price, however, it’s great! If you use a lot of ink or press down quite hard when writing, it’ll seep through. NOT enough that you can’t use the page under it, you certainly can, however, it may be difficult to use pages double-sided. Personally, I write light and have had no problem using pages double-sided, but if you press down hard when writing spend the extra few bucks and get a book with thicker pages.Read more

As the title says it’s a basic notebook. But it feels better than the Hilroy ones I have used previously. Overall if you need notebooks for courses. This is definitely a good deal.Read more

Came in bent on the corners with was a little disappointing, but it did go from America to northern Canada so it makes sense. The paper is very thin and see through in normal lighting, but the covers are thick and durable, basically don’t get them wet or the pages will glue together very quickly. They were as expected and listed, nothing overly special that you couldn’t get at your local dollar store.Read more

I had to return this. Using an erasable pen (as I usually do), is not a great experience. The ink is much fainter on this paper and the pen skips more. It’s a weird texture. This works with some of my pen but for most of them the ink skips or the paper feels too slick. Maybe I got a bad batch because the paper almost feels like it’s been sprayed lightly with something plastic.Read more

They are really nice and so cheap. The spiral is really sturdy and the sheets really don’t unroll. The sheets are obviously not five stars, but they are still really good, not thin at all. The cover and last page are not the strongest, but they do the job. You still need a hard surface to write in it. They are super cheap and definitely worth it. The colors are also really nice.Read more
