This is the first Amazon brand item I have purchased that I did not like. I followed instructions on switching my dog over to this food, mixing it with his former food in increasing quantities over the past two weeks. My poor dog has been throwing up and followed that with a two day green diarrhea fest that has given me a new appreciation for my carpet cleaner. He will not even go near his bowl if he smells this food in it. I am switching him back to his former food. The price of this food was good, but I will find other areas to save money rather than have my poor pupper suffer. I still love you Amazon, but I wish I had never bought this.Read more

I mixed this kibble 50/50 with the other kibble I was using for 5 days before going full strength. Her first full strength feeding came back up 3 hours later. We had 1/2 rice and 1/2 kibble the next day she seemed better but had bad gas. Day three she seems fine but super bad gas and super stinky poo. I gave this two stars because it’s priced well and service was amazing..full refund no questions asked and no return. Because some ingredients may be sourced out of USA I do not recommend.Read more

He usually eats Caesar. He loves it. He is a small dog, very healthy per the vet appointment yesterday. He loves the Caesar, and the first time ate the Amazon “Wag” food no problem. After giving him his first serving of it, I waited a week until my other bag of food was empty. He wanted nothing to do with it. The ONLY thing I can imagine is he has a few missing back teeth so he might not want to chew on it. However he does get it down. I think he is swallowing it anyway. If that is happening, its the flavor or what it is doing to him causing him not to want it. I wont be buying it again sadly. I was hoping for a new product that was good but also low priced.Read more

I have an eight-year-old Doberman and a small mixed breed schnauzer the small schnauzer was fine on the food as she is only two years old but my older dog who is eight began getting hard patches in his back and was unable to go to the bathroom easily after using this two months I switched him back to a different food and his back is 100% better and he is able to go to the bathroom it took about three weeks for him to get back on track now I have a bag of food that we just opened it nobody can eat. We know it’s the food because this is never happened before and it was immediately fixed after we switched his food we even tried gabapentin a bunch of meds that didn’t do anything to alleviate the hard patches in his back until food was discontinued. We have always been pretty easy-going about what food our Doberman eats he’s had everything from Costco brand food to the Costco organic blue bag food to other random dog food brands that you can buy at your local pet food store and he has never had anything like this ever.Read more

have 2 senior over weight dogs — a chihuahua and a terrier- both adoptees- who are very foood orinted—they are pickiy tho– would rather a fresh mouse, rat, squirrel, or bunny caught for them by the cat — rat is his name– he is teaching them to hunt– joy– however- they will eat the dry food— this wags tho – discourages them from fresh kill—- they like mixed human and wags– looove the size it is perfect for both dogs– they are not drinking as much water as they did on my other kibble — more energetic– and mor aware— they used to ignore their bowls when i fed them in the morning—- now they line up when i put their bowls down! thank you–the price is right too and soo nice to see it at the front door step— tu, amozon this is a great pporductRead more

My dog really seemed to love this food at first, but now we’re halfway through our second bag and she’s decided not to eat it. She literally hasn’t eaten in two days. No other symptoms, the vet says she’s fine. She just won’t eat it. On the second day, she didn’t get any treats or other food, to encourage her to focus on eating her meal. Today’s day three and she picked at maybe half a mouthful. Really disappointed, because she’s allergic to chicken fat, and it’s impossible to find reasonable priced dry food without it.Read more
