Our chainsaw chaps feature great material as mentioned, a proper side pocket with snap closure, adjustable straps with standard buckles, adjustabale waist sizes and folding waistband with aligned buttons. Apron style chainsaw chaps for men/women can reduce the risk and severity of injury by providing cut resistance that slows and stops the running chain for chiansaw operators when unexpected contacts happened.
Available in three sizes. Adjustable waist length up to 48″, full length of the chaps are 38″(from the waist to your instep, not inseam length). The length of the pants can short 2 inches by folding the wasitband down and press those aligned buttons in.

The buckles are not on opposite sides. Therefore, the extra nylon strap hangs forward on one leg and not the other. It seems like the manufacturer could go to the trouble of sewing the straps on as mirror images of each other. In addition, it feels as if that chap also rotates out due to the way you have to pull the straps. Economical price and otherwise seem sturdy.Read more

These were worn ONE time and the plastic clicker that was at the waist broke….. I had thrown the receipt away—so I got a 25 cent loop belt and cut it apart and sewed it onto the existing belt—works fine now—but for the money, the plastic clicker waist thing should have lasted longer!

This review is for the Chainsaw Chaps Apron Wrap 8-layer for Men/Women Loggers Forest Workers Protective Chain Saw Pants Adjustable. Good thickness and weight. I bought the small ones. I’m 6′ with a 29″ inseam and they fit great. I feel protected but I hope that I never find out if they actually hold up in an accident. Perhaps you could perform that test for the rest of us…but then again, we don’t like horror stories. LOL … unless that actually happens. Let’s pray shall we? Please, when writing a review include the description so the rest of us will know it is for the correct item. It’s a copy and paste thing, not rocket science. I see bad reviews with pictures of a different colored item so obviously a different item.Read more

I don’t take risks when it comes to the PPE I wear. Sure, most farm and ranch chainsaw users take bigger risks around their PTOs and hydraulics, but I’m planning to reach my 80th birthday with all my appendages. This is well sewn, solid material. The buckles are plastic but beefy and I had no qualms in 15F temps. Comfortable on my 6’3”, 225 pound frame over jeans and insulated overalls. Wish the knees had some extra reinforcing, although I’ve had no issues.Read more

The outer cover is a very durable material that should wear well.it is thick but flexible. It meets the most resent criteria for safety. Hopefully I will never have to write a follow up review to tell how well it works at stopping a chainsaw from chewing into my leg.Read more

I have used these chaps on a regular basis. These are comfortable and sturdy as far as the material they used on the chaps themselves. The plastic attachments to hook the belt up is another thing. I was constantly have to tighten the belt as would not stay in the position I had set the belt at. It keeps loosing up belt at, and starts to fall off. I have to constantly stop and retighten it. The handles are made of plastic and not very durable as you can see by the clasp that has broke already that is part of the belt attachment. These chaps now are currently useless until I can get them fix and get s new clasp for the belt.Read more
