Just Don’t. In less than a month they’ve worn completely through the finish and permanently marred our floors. We’ve ordered a rug, so I guess we’ll find out if these sliders eat through it as easily as they did our wood floors.Read more

It’s only been less than 2 weeks that these have been on my chairs, and the plastic caps are already separating from the glides or wearing down. I’m not sure if these will make much of a difference, because it seems to be just an additional layer of protection and not something necessary for the product to work…..BUT, it is still pretty annoying to see how quickly these have begun to come apart. All in all, the product still works, which is why I couldn’t give them just 1 star. I’m just waiting for the rest of them to start falling off now.Read more

Product fail. Exactly 8 days after I installed the glides on our 4 chairs, the plastic caps fell off of 2 of them. It looks like not enough glue was applied to keep the caps on. As a comparison, the previous glides we had, made in the usa by a now shuttered business, lasted approximately 14 years before they started failing. Additionally, the caps look to be *less* than 1 mm in thickness. Too thin to last friction. Sad.Read more

There is nothing premium about this product. The company said they would not replace the pins that broke during installation. They asked me to see if Amazon would, I cannot replace the entire product so I will not reach out to Amazon. Instead, I will just leave my photos here and my experience on this install to help give others a fair warning in case reviews have been biased. I had difficulty installing into hardwood legs of kitchen chairs as the pins buckled very easily. I was able to get about 5 chairs done with a pack of 40 pins, but many pins broke and bent. This product installs better in softwood products and if you predrill each of the legs prior to inserting into the wood. For the price, I should have bought these at a lower price from someone else for the quality of the metal and response from the company supporting their product. Don’t bother contacting the company despite the wording on the box they only handle things bought directly from them.Read more

the sticky back pads that were on the wooden chair legs were attracting fur and dust. these just nail into the bottom of the chair of the legs after you drill a small pilot hole. no adhesive, no fur. for wooden chair or smallish table legs. You want the glide to cover at least half the width or diameter of the bottom of the leg. Would Recommend.Read more

This product is terrible! Within 2 days of installing the chair glides the outer layer (the one that does the gliding) separated from the rubber and now the chairs don’t glide. I’ve tried to glue the gliding film and they fall apart again. There’s no way to return these as they’re hammered on to the chair legs. I’m super disappointed!Read more

My prefinished hardwood floors are extremely easy to scratch. However these claim to prevent scratches. Alas they do not. A light weight step stool my son pushes around still scratched our floors. So they didn’t work at all.Read more

This is a great product however you should know a few things; for the installation prepare the hole ahead of time to avoid bending the chair guards attached nail. I destroyed four of the chair guards before I realized you have to get the whole deep enough to not bend the nail to the protector. The first picture I posted they are the 1 1/2 inch protectors on barstools and they work wonderful! The second picture is on 1 inch legs to oak chairs, so I bought three-quarter inch tampons to be less visible they work wonderful as well! I recommend this product just remember to prepare the chair before you use the product.Read more

The nails are heavy-duty and come with an individual protector (so that you don’t accidentally prick your finger). The chair now glides with ease over the laminate floors. Family loves this product. I only planned to install on one chair which was missing one old protector, but now I have to fit all the chairs with these new protectors because everybody wants to use this one chair and a fight breaks out over it.Read more

I put these on my six dining chairs that stand on bare hardwood and now they glide nicely and don’t damage the floor. As per the instructions we used a very tiny drill bit to first drill a hole and then were able to easily install with a few taps of a hammer. Work better than those felt pads that always fall of or get skewed sideways. Thanks for a good product!Read more

The felt pads for chair legs trap all the dust which you then have to scrape off. These pads work great, the chairs slide nice, the floor doesn’t get scratched, and they will last forever. Took about 20 minutes to do 6 chairs.Read more

Easy to use. End result is very impressive. Does exactly what it describes. We feel our floors are protected properly now. We tried the felt covers with much disappointment.Read more
