I was headed out for a month-long road trip and didn’t want to drag along the bulky charger cable that came with my Nintendo Switch. So I casually bought the first “Type C” to USB cable I saw at the local big box— and despite my best attempts, couldn’t get that cable to actually charge my console. Grrr… Then I saw these cables reviewed on Amazon as specifically being compatible with the Switch AND the price was right and the colors were bright and fun. I didn’t really *need* two of them, but you know how, if you have two, you find a way to use them both? I certainly have! Right now I have one cable plugged in by a comfy chair and another one plugged in by my bed, and whichever place I choose to play my Switch, I can count on not losing power. In fact, I’ve had nothing but success playing or charging my Switch in our car or in our many hotel rooms as we drove virtually all the way across the US in July. these were a successful purchase. My only complaint: the bright red cable clashes with my coral pink Switch console.

These cables do the job perfectly! I use them to charge my switch as well as my phone. I have not had any issues with them yet. The cables are really good quality for the price. The fact that they are nylon braided is also a major bonus. The nylon brain makes it so the cable does not tangle easily and get caught on other things, it glides so smoothly across all surfaces. I usually buy Anker cables when I need a replacement but the value of these cables and the length are going to make me switch from Anker. There is no reason to spend more money on something that does the job exactly the same!Read more

I had bought this for my boyfriend to use for his Nintendo switch. I wanted him to have a longer charger cord that he could plug in with a usb block. The way we have our cords arranged that would be better than the factory Nintendo switch charger. However, we promptly returned this item due to the fact we left it on the charger and no charge. It took about two weeks to get our money back, even though all four of our other returned items returns went through that same day. And yes, I had chosen the “2-4” hour return option. We had tried several different blocks, and both chargers that it came with and got nothing. Wouldn’t recommend, at least for Nintendo switch. Bought a ten foot cord from a different seller and it worked great. Save your money!Read more

I got these cables prior to going out of town with my family. We have several controllers that we always need to charge with the Switch, so more cables were needed.
