I’m not one to bash a product, but this is complete waste of money. I always hand wash our atvs with my power washer. Which can take 4-5 hours. I like my stuff to look new when I’m not using it. I was looking for something to help make things quicker. I applied the product exactly how instructed, foam cannon, hand wash then rinse. The end result was the atv’s weren’t any where as clean as my normal method of cleaning them. Which resulted in me have to rewash them by hand using my normal method with diluted simple green. It did go on nice and thick which made me have good expectations. They say to apply with foam cannon on dry dirt and mud, I think this product may have worked better if the atv was power washed first to remove most dirt and mud. Definitely didn’t meet my standards of “clean”.Read more

No better than throwing any kind of soap in a bucket and washing it. Doesn’t do anything that’s advertised besides make cooking looking foam. I’ll stick to my normal routine, pressure washer to remove bigger mud/dirt, LAs Totally Awesome ($1 at DG) on the grease and around the engine, then follow up with Meguiars gold class car wash. My 2016 KTM still looks new using this method.Read more

did ok, seemed to cling to the mud when washing but didn’t see any real difference than the other chemical guy soaps, not sure I believe it’s worth double the cost ($28 for 1/2gal vs $30 for 1gal) of reg Chemical guy soap and I honestly can’t say I’ve noticed mud sticking any less on my ATV’s than other rides after previously cleaning with Tough MudderRead more

2 reviews: The Soap (used in CG Foam Cannon, full coverage) was no more “lifting” on Dirt and Mud than the other non-wax stripping Soaps by The Chemical Guys. It still requires the typical cleaning process Rinse/Foam/Rinse/Foam/Scrub/Rinse/Dry. That said, it didn’t appear to damage/remove the CG Sealer & Butter Wax on the body panels, like the other Soaps of this type. I have found most of the CG Soaps do the same +/- and require the above process if used on truly Dirty Cars/Trucks, it is not Rinse/Foam/Rinse = Clean (if your cleaning a clean car, sure, by why?). Packaging for shipping was horrible; the Plastic Safety Caps “broke” during shipping and the Soap leaked all over the inside of the Box, no damage to the Jugs. There was minimal damage on the exterior of the box, just soaked wet by the soap. USPS delivered the box in a plastic bag, due to the leaking. I would recommend shipping with strong “tin” lids/caps and including the cheap safety caps for the customer to install. Or, I would recommend adding additional padding around the Cheap Plastic Safety Caps to protect them from the typical abuse all packages get via USPS, UPS, or other shippers. Spend the extra $0.25 and remove the issue. This has happened before and will again in the future. I will not buy, nor recommend, until this is corrected… Simply put, I’m tired of the issue, mess, and getting less product than I purchased (not to mention the excuses!). I will start purchasing similar Soaps available at Local Suppliers or Auto Parts Stores that do not strip wax and work well in Foam Cannons.Read more

Smells nice. Creates thick foam. Helps lubricate MOST mud and dirt with 3000 psi pressure washer. Does not replace hand washing though, as I still need to wash my truck again to clean the thin dirt layer left behind the thicker dirt that was washed away. My truck looks clean from 50 feet, and probably would in a photo, but at 10 feet it is still a dirty truck. I had higher expectations before trying this the first time. Honestly, I will buy again. With more realistic expectations that this soap will loosen MOST the dirt.Read more

I bought this specifically to try on my ATV after dusty/dirty rides – it does a good job when used as directed (including a pre-rinse, apply the soap, hand scrubbing with a mitt and clean rinse water, and hand drying afterwards.) It is NOT just a spray on and rinse off kind of cleaner (nor does it claim to be), and honestly considering the price I didn’t see much of a difference between it and other kinds / brands I’ve tried. Not sure I’d buy again, but I don’t really dis-like it either.Read more
