The Gray Matter Silk Effect Super Soft Microfiber Waffle Weave Dryer Towel is a luxurious extra large, super soft waffle weave microfiber towel measuring at 36 inch by 25 inch. The towel is wrapped in a silky soft satin sewn edge which extends the life of the towel. The silk sewn edges act like a safeguard against light swirls and scratches. Inferior towels without the silk edges have a polyester edge that can easily scratch paint. This towel is designed to deliver maximum absorbency, a single towel can hold 8 9 times its weight in water. This waffle weave towel is 100 percent machine washable. This towel is easy to wash using your favorite detergent. Toss it right into the washing machine for easy care. Just be sure to wash them separately, to keep them lint free. As with all microfiber products, never expose them to fabric softener. Fabric softener will reduce their static properties and cause the microfiber to clean/spread less effectively. They can be line dried or machine dried on low setting, again, separately from other laundry.

HUGE 36″x25″ DRYING SURFACE: Sometimes bigger is better, and when it comes to waffle weave drying towels, that is definitely the case. These towels make drying your car, truck or SUV a snap
WAFFLES AREN’T JUST DELICIOUS: While normal microfiber towels use plush strands of microfiber to absorb water and dirt, our waffle weave towels use a special waffle groove pattern to trap and absorb water droplets. Regular towels must sometimes be buffed vigorously over the surface; our waffle weave towels can be dabbed or glided gently once to pick up any standing waterWAFFLES AREN’T JUST DELICIOUS: While normal microfiber towels, use plush strands of microfiber to absorb water and dirt, our waffle weave towels, use a special waffle groove pattern to trap and absorb water droplets. DON’T JUST BUY A TOWEL, BUY THE RIGHT TOWEL: Chemical Guys microfiber towels are made of a blend of 70% polyester and 30% polyamide. Most “cheap” towels are an 80/20 blend meaning they are not as soft and do not last as long. If you see you can buy two of another’s brand towels for the price of one of ours, there’s a reason for it
DON’T WORRY ABOUT LINT, STREAKS OR SCRATCHES: After you remove our product label, you don’t have to worry about lint, streaks or scratches when using our towel on your vehicle
IT’S ALL IN THE DETAILS: Cheap microfiber towels have hard nylon edges that scratch paint while buffing and drying. Gray Matter Waffle Weave Drying Towels feature premium silk-banding along all four edges of the softest scratch-free touch from the entire towel
I tell it how it is –
I ordered 2 of these. One is nice clean thick material. The other is a different color, and made of a less thread count / cheap knock off.Read more

The picture on this product shows a fluffy, folded waffle weave towel. What I got was a thin, low thread count rag. The towel I received wasn’t nearly as absorbent as others I’ve had. It was soft, but there was almost no depth to the texture of the towel–again, just a thin rag. Worst of all, after only two car dryings with it using a no-rinse wash, the seam on an entire short edge of the towel was coming apart (see attached picture). Some others have mentioned receiving knock-offs….I have no idea if this is or not, but there is no sense taking the risk! I am returning this product!Read more

**I’m a Chemical Guys fan (see my other reviews) so it pains me to say this: this towel is a cheap POS. The first wash, I had frayed strings peeking out from under the edging. The edging shrunk and crinkled. This isn’t how I expected a $12 microfiber towel to look after one damn wash.Read more

Works well until it gets soaked. I have a 2016 mustang and this towel cannot finish drying my car…thats pretty bad considering how small the mustang is. Even if you wring the towel out while driving it stopped working efficiently after only front of the car! This is my second waffle weave from Chemical Guys (had the SUV and returned it) and I am not impressed at all. Going back to the Absorber towel…honestly, I only tried out the waffle because I thought it was the latest and greatest technology but I think the Absorber defended its title here.Read more

After reading the reviews and watching videos about this towel on the Chemical Guys website, I had HIGH hopes. It’s just ok. Mind you, I’m using this on a 2012 MINI Cooper coupe so we are not talking about a big car here. Pros: -soft -absorbs a good amount of water on it’s first few passes -big size is good for hood, roof, trunk lid Cons: -snags easy on trim pieces, especially logos and model names on trunk -really is only good for a few passes -doesn’t wring out easy -big size can lead to dragging on the ground as you get the lower panels…be careful not to get anything on it that will scratch your pain Summary: It is a nice towel. Would I buy it again? No. I also have an Absorber and while it isn’t as soft, it’s super easy to wring out and it does the job well.Read more

while the reviews said this would dry off an entire car without needing to be wrung out, this was not the case however i have 2 of these now and am able to dry off my car with ease, it is a larger sedan so nothing massive but it gets the job done just barely they work and do as they’re suppose to, but just wish it was more absorbent for how big it is end up having to wring em out and pop in the dryer for a while if i’m doing another car and don’t want to have to carry 20 of these to just dry off cars.. all in all, they’re nice but a bit of false advertising from their videosRead more

I purchased this towel after watching a youtube video that recommended it for drying a freshly washed car. I wasn’t expecting it to do anything great, as I’ve never had much success with chamois cloths or other highly praised towels used to dry vehicles. But this one is different. It soaks up the water in 1-2 passes, leaves a nice shine on my new Acura, and washes up nicely in my washing machine. Another plus is that this towel is huge! This is great because it’s quite difficult for short girls like me to dry the roof of a vehicle. This towel is so large that I can stretch it across the top of the car to dry it, thus eliminating the need for me to climb on anything to reach that area. Overall I can’t find one reason to complain about this towel and am actually ordering another one today to keep indoors for drying my shower. It’s a great item at a great price…Read more

Used it only 2 times and it started ripping, does a great job of drying but doubt it will be durable.Read more

MAS SIN EMBARGO SI LA RECOMIENDO COMO UNA BUENA ALTERNATIVA PARA SECADO RAPIDO Y EFICIENTE.Read more

Read more

Wow this towel really loves water! Soaks up water fast, but I notice it doesn’t like holding onto a lot of it. If the towel is damp, it leaves streaks. I have to use two towels just to dry a motorbike without streaking the water. and I’m trying really hard to make the most out of the towel. But it does dry things up fast. If it can absorb it, it will, and it will not streak, only when it can’t absorb any more (well, duh!). It just seems that it takes much before it gets to that point. So, it absorbs great and really fast, but wish that it could hold more. I like how it feels too 🙂 It’s a nice towel for me, and exactly what I want in a towel in terms of absorbing speed.Read more

Read more
