I’ve used the less expensive Camco pressure reducers but they fail frequently, several brand new ones didn’t work correctly. I’ve seen the camco pressure reduced to 20psi (crummy showers) as well as it not working at all at a park with 80psi. I now travel with a water pressure gauge and test the rv park pressure before I hook up. This regulator is a constant 55psi. High enough to give me good water pressure in the rig and not so high that I’m worried about busting a pipe. Hopefully the last longer than the Camco’s but so far I’m pleased.Read more

This regulator works well to allow one to keep excessive water supply pressure from damaging equipment. It is attached to the supply hose bib as the first element. To it the supply hose(s) to the camper are attached. This protects the camper and the hoses from excessive pressure. Adjustment is easy with a flat bladed screwdriver and the included pressure gauge allows accurate setting. My experience so far is that every campground supply is somewhat different requiring adjustment for each. The flow through the regulator seems to allow full flow at all pressures. One drawback is that when the campground includes an anti-siphon on the hose bib that interferes with the filter screen on the input to the regulator. This requires removal of the filter and replacement with a hose washer to make the attachment.Read more

I installed this water pressure regulator valve at the faucet, into a filter and into my RV. It gave me precise readings, and kept the water pressure at an appropriate level to keep my RV water lines from bursting. I’ve been in RV sites where the pressure was so great that leaks sprung inside the 5th wheel, and I had to make a few trips to a dealer and hardware store to get the right “fix” for the problem. With this regulator valve, no worries.Read more

This item was purchased to replace my old 40 PSI water pressure regulator on my Motorhome. I checked recommended water pressure for my Motorhome and it recommends no more than 55 PSI. This regulator fits the bill precisely. It attaches to the water spigot and the hose to the end of the regulator and voila! Done. And the price was very nice.Read more

Purchased wanting a higher pressure then standard 40-50 PS I models. This was higher pressure but the flow rate is terrible. Draw any water thru it and pressure significantly drops. Not happy .. Discarded the product.Read more

We replaced our brass regualtor that was rated 40 to 50 PSI with this high flow regualtor and we couldn’t believe the difference. The shower is so powerful now. The toilet flushes better. Its amazing what a few extra PSI’s of water pressure can do for you. We are happy campers!Read more
