So, this couch is only about 4 years old and still under warranty. I had this area professionally repaired a few months ago, and the finish started flaking more than ever! While the repair was free, it is a pain in the rear, so I tried this product! It worked awesome, looks like new! The brush that comes with the kit left brush marks, so I used an old soft artistry brush to apply. I also used a makeup sponge to blend at the edges and to fill in the smaller worn areas. Took three thin coats, drying in between to get it just right. When mixing, shiit for a slightly lighter shade, as it darkens as it dried. Time will tell if it holds up, but at least I have extra product left over if I need to reapply! Well, two weeks later, and the repair is still looking good! I am very happy with this product!Read more

The product worked as advertised. My chair was not real leather but will still be good for kids when they go to college. I could not get exact same fake leather pattern but didn’t expect to. The company did a fantastic job of customer service as I had some questions. Process was easy.Read more

This product deserves a review. I was skeptical at first but I was desperate and needed to repair my sectional leather couch. I had a six inch rip from my dogs and it was a huge eye sore. I mixed the paint per the color chart and adjusted a bit to darken tone. The color chart is very easy to follow and accurate. I applied about three coats while allowing drying time in between and am amazed at the results. I’ve had family and friends over and they can’t even tell I’ve repaired it! This product saved me from buying a new sectional I’ll pay 20 bucks any day for this kind of result. I’ve attached a pic of what the repair looks like, you can still tell but only if your looking for it, the adhesion is very good and it has prevented the rip from spreading. Lovin’ the results!Read more

Husband didn’t care for leather recliner and both cracking and rubbing off of color happened over time. Decided to try this brown repair kit and am happy with results. As other reviewers have mentioned customer support is super! I would agree that it is really important to get your color match correct. The product does tend to dry darker. Applying my mixture using a cotton ball slightly dampened with alcohol worked best for me. This is especially true when covering an area that has no cracks but has faded or rubbed off color. Unfortunately, I took the before and after pics in different light. The after pics are the more accurate color. The pics are in this order: the recliner, headrest before, headrest after, right arm elbow before, right arm elbow after, left arm elbow before, left arm elbow after. I did spot repairs feathering the edges not an overall application and the kit was sufficient to cover the areas described as well as left and right hand rest areas with some product leftover.Read more

I recognize when we purchased this couch it wasn’t going to last forever and that synthetic leather would eventually start to peel over time and exposure it’s just bound to happen with that leather. And yes this couch sure sees a lot of exposure. So when I saw my darling little children (who I love) picking at my couch creating this huge ugly gray patch I sure was seeing red. I was ready to throw my couch to the curb, not really an option at this point. I still want to get a couple more years out of it!So after i banished my children from my sight and I searched the world of you tube of what people did in this situation. I was ready to tackle this and at least give it a go. So I purchased this product off of amazon, but I also bought some matte adhesive spray and some super fine grit sandpaper. I actually made the ugly patch a little bigger, picking away at the pieces that were sticking up, once that was removed I lightly sprayed the adhesive on the patch making sure to use my fingers pressing into the edges. Let that completely dry. Next comes the kit. It comes with a white putty or compound i applied thin layers and use the flat edge of a business card to smooth it out going over the exposed area, let it completely dry, sand and repeat. I probably did this four or five times. Just be patient! I did this Until i felt the edges were filled in and looked even. Once I had a smooth dry surface I added a mix of colors until I felt I had an adequate match. The kit comes with a brush, but since I had a fairly large spot, I felt using a slightly damp rag worked best. I just did a tapping motion, pressing the color into the spot. I did a couple layers until i had good coverage! Super impressed and grateful to hopefully get a few more years out of this couch. Totally worth the 20 dollars! I recognize this is temporary and this will not last forever. It’s been on for the last three months but seems to be doing well. No one has ever noticed it, it’s not perfect but I was impressed!Read more

I made the stupid mistake of using nail polish remover while sitting on my couch and some of it dripped on to the leather and literally melted the top layer. I was mortified! Not only was it ugly, it had the potential to further deteriorate because it was hole in a high traffic area. I have tried purchasing leather repair products before with no success. I found this product and looked at some of the pictures and reviews and decided to try it. I mixed up a little color thinking I might need to do a few rounds of applications and my expectations were that it probably wouldn’t match but hoped it would just minimize the damage and prevent it from getting worse. I was thrilled when it checked all of the boxes! Color (espresso with a 50/50 mix of black and chocolate) is absolutely perfect and the coverage blended in so well that you would never know it had been damaged. I’m beyond excited and relieved! I have another couch that has some wear marks and I’ll be doing that next. This is definitely worth its’ weight in gold! Highly recommend.Read more

Does the job good enough for a cheap repair. Had a large scratch/small hole in our footstool and it was thre first thing I saw every time I walked in the living room, really annoying. Now I don’t even notice it. It’s not a 100% perfect repair but you’d never know unless you look closely for it. Also covered loads of small scratches by just squirting a bit on and rubbing my finger over it. Excellent.Read more

Very pleased with this product. My suite is ten years old and was peeling bad in places. I sent photos for advice which replied the same day. Advise on mix ratio which was easy. Once I applied it and left to dry. Amazed at results in one attempt. There is plenty in the kit to do the job and I had a large area to cover. I did buy a small bottle of rubbing alcohol which wasn’t in the kit but they advised it in instructions.. I only used it to clean area first and incase I needed to buff it or remove if I’d made an error. So it’s not essential to have it. It was only like £5 for small bottle. I’ve included before and after photos.Read more

Unfortunately I dind’t take before pictures but it completely renovated my leather couches that were covered in rips and scratches and bare patches! Getting the colour right took a couple of attempa as it dries much darker, but there is enough product and colours to match the leather tone almost exactly. I purchased two boxea since I had two couches to restore and I have finished the work with only one box and still lots of spare product. Beyond my expectations, including excellent customee service that contacted me immediatley following my purchase to provide support if neede. I didn’t, it was easy and very effective.Read more

Tempted to return the kit which arrived loose in a plastic bag not the presentation box it was advertised in. It is too soon to rate the repair but it looks like it has been used and returned to Amazon. The choice to keep it and use it rather than return was mine. I do object to paying full price for second hand kit!Read more
