The last twenty-five years of the Lincoln wheat-ear penny meet in our unique collection. Designed by Victor Brenner in honor of the 100th anniversary of Abraham Lincoln’s birth and first to display the image of an actual person, this historical penny was introduced in 1909. Ours are dated from 1934 to 1958. This exquisite collection includes the rare and beautiful Lincoln Steel Penny which was only minted in the year 1943 as copper was needed for the war effort. With the exception of the 1943 Lincoln Steel Cent, these Lincoln wheat-ear pennies were minted of 95% copper. Includes a Certificate of Authenticity.

The steel cent was spectacular, though I wonder if it was cleaned or not because it just looks uncirculated, or it’s a fake. Other than that, the other coins were not in very great shape and could have been found for a fraction of the coast. The 1958 cent was in very bad shape, and those I still find in way better shape roll hunting.Read more

Bought one and decided to buy another to display both front and back. First one I am very pleased, this one did not come with pennies and the back looks very rough, imprints of coins (although no coins came with it). Just want the pennies but would be pleased with the whole set since card is in rough shape!Read more

Came with the cardboard display sheet, severely creased. They either need to vastly improve the thickness of the display sheet or find a way to ship it that prevents it from being damaged in shipping. Questionable on overall value.Read more
