These are knock-off’s and pull paint off the walls. When I received these, they were in a bubble mailer inside the amazon box. It was just a clear bag of the hooks and tape and then a cardboard 3M instruction sheet – neither was attached to each other. Super shady. Because of this, I tested one in an inconspicuous place first and sure enough, when I went to pull it off 4 hours later, it took the paint with it. Don’t use these! I’ve let Amazon know about the scam.Read more

Keep your stepladder handy because these things pop off the wall like they don’t have the will to live. 1st: if you already bought them or NEED these, do yourself a solid and use a hip pack to keep the adhesive and clips close so you can access them while on the ladder, otherwise you will be adding many dollars to your curse jar. Also, a facecloth with alcohol to wipe the surface and one to wipe your sweaty a$$ed hands off, because half way around the room, going up and down that stepladder, you will need one. Press them on and if you have faith in the system, you will put up your string of lights, only to have them slowly fall off your wall, onto you in the middle of the night, making you wish that you had just hot glued the f-ing things on to begin with. Have fun. Mine have been “up” for a month and not only is the ladder still in my bedroom, but I wake up like a shot when I hear the faint sound of one peeling off the wall. I am slowly replacing them with some off brand hooks I got AFTER this process.Read more

Just okay! Not too great, I know they are mini clips, but according to the package they should be more durable. I got better use out of the doubled sided tape I found at my local 99 cent store. That is why they got a 2 star review. I did manage to use them to hang things on my windows so they didn’t completely go to waste.Read more

This is the best product I have found on the market for the securing and mounting of CAT 7 ethernet cable to a wall or other surface. The clips are the perfect size for a CAT 7 flat cable. I’ve used them around the house with success. I am thrilled with this product after trying out many others. It should be noted that these clips would only work for CAT 7 – none of the wider cables from earlier standards.Read more

I ordered these along with some LED lights that I thought I would try to see if it would work and not have to use any kind of glue on my TV. The sitcky tabs are double sided and it has a side that says ‘TO THE WALL’ which is to go against the wall when your ready to stick them up. The other side is where the hook gets stuck to and then you pull the tab down when you want to remove them. I got my hooks and the tabs and proceeded to stick them to the back of my TV and spaced them out and as I put them in place and put slight pressure on them some of them broke. I had 5 of them break but i was able to get them off and gets new ones and got the amount i needed on the back. I then got my led strip and was able to slide it into the hooks and was able to get the strip on all of them and none of them broke. WHEW! I got the light strip set up and gave it a tug around each hook and they stayed on and did not come off. I was able to get the rest of the led light strip connect and its working good so far. Not sure if the adhesive is heat tolerant so we’ll see when the warmer months come along. I would rate then okay as some of them did break very easy with just slight pressure put on them. I will add some pictures later to show how they were used .Read more

I first used these to hang string lights around my ceiling about 2 years ago. I recently moved into a new apartment and got new clips to hang my lights again. They seem to have redesigned the clips to have a larger opening (see photos: left = old, right = new). The last time I used these, my walls were bumpy from being repainted so much, but the clips held fine. One fell off after a month or two but I just put it back up with a new strip. The strips that come with the clear clips are definitely weaker than the foam ones you get with the white clips, but for something as light as string lights, it’s not an issue. When I took the clips down, a few dots of paint kind of came off, but the same thing happened when I took scotch tape off the wall, so I think it’s more likely a result of poor quality paint. I haven’t used the new clips yet, but the strips are exactly the same as the old ones and the clip itself still feels sturdy. The only real difference is the shape of the actual clip/the part that holds the string in (see photos).Read more

I always use command hooks which I have always been happy with. So when I found this large pack on Amazon I ordered them. When I came to use them they looked old and there was no adhesion at all, so I had to go to the shops to try and get some which at the Christmas time of year it was a bit difficult as lots of shops had sold out. So I’m now in the process of returning this item which I have to say Amazon have been great assisting me.Read more

Before buying this product there was no mention of the need for rubbing alcohol.when you read the instructions the first thing you find is you need the alcohol, which I found to be extremely hard to get,the only place I could find any was on the internet, so I used surgical spirit. The hooks worked very well, but when it came time to remove them the backing tape lifted the paint from the wallRead more
