Not the best, both were hard to put in without breaking a tab that keeps them in place, I tried to put the battery in properly, but one of the tabs broke. It stays in but because the table broke, it will fall out. The one that got in properly works well, but it’s inconsistent for results. Instructions are not very user friendly **UPDATE** Almost immediately after I left a review, the company reached out to me, quickly got me a replacement, and how to install it. It’s a pretty simple concept – replace the battery pack on the controller, and then actually remember to put the controller on this when you’re done playing. I did the first part, but my kids often forget to put the controller on here as they should. The batteries seem to last a long time, so we haven’t yet had a freak out because a controller was left off the base and they’re unable to play. All in all, worth buying.Read more

You canât use the original charging port on the controller to charge these. The new battery pack has a charging port right under the original. So the top would just power the controller and the bottom would power and charge. Which was great for us because one of our controller charging ports was broken and we were going to throw it away and this was a cheep fix. After going through a few months of the controller eating batteries this is fantastic. I charged them to full after getting them and have not had to charge again yet since 2/4 (no gaming sessions there, just streaming). The battery pack does not sit perfectly flush in the controller but no issues with charging or use, you can’t even tell unless you are inspecting it closely. Very happy with this purchase. Our XBox is used daily and we have one elite controller. I needed batteries that could stand up to that use and was easy to swap out. As a single piece (battery and backplate), these batteries are easy to swap out. Also, the top down charging is very easy to use. The charging station was easy to setup. After using PDP Energizer batteries for over a year, I felt they were not lasting as long. They are not as easy to swap out, so I tried ESYWEN. After two months, Iâm feeling the same on battery life. After rereading descriptions, other brands have around 35 hour battery life whereas ESYWEN says 10. Price differences at this time are around $5-$8. For this reason, Iâm rating lower.Read more

Nyko used to be the go-to branch for Xbox controller chargers, but they seem to have dropped the ball. Random changes to their design mean that new batteries are incompatible with old controllers. Hopefully, this ESYWEN charger won’t have this problem in 5 years. Regardless, it’s a better design overall. I have a headphone adapter on one of my controllers, and the because you connect the controllers upside-down, I don’t need to remove the adapter. Battery life seems to be okay so far, but it’s way too early to tell how long they’ll last.Read more
