Pretty terrible. Way overpriced. The wedge and corner wedge don’t fit together well. And the corner wedge doesn’t even fit other corner wedges well. Very cheap, plastic and the cheap screws strip out instantly when using a drill at a slow speed. It also looks a bit ghetto. Even with predrilled holes the plastic warped as the screw went in. So the fit is even worse post installation. Even though I bought over priced “ring” brand mounts, disappointed that not even the doorbell fits flush with the mount. (2 sets at 19.99) = 40 bucks of worthless plastic that should value about 3$. Does not include wire or crimps.Read more

Buyer beware. The mount that arrived stated for Ring Doorbell 2 but the mount plate holes do not line up. After mounting the corner wedge I realized the holes didn’t match. What a disappointment to discover! I’m thinking the wedge is for the Ring doorbell 1. It’s a Ring product so I can’t really say who’s at fault but a very inconvenience.Read more

It did install,having to use different screws that don’t bend. and better screws to hold the camera to to the bracket. IT should have been made Solid where screws need to be. The first plate should be screw in flush to wall. not angled. Every other plate should mount to the one below into solid mass where screws holes are. Really just hate crap !!!! If I find the time I will 3d print a much better one.Read more

Amazon people aren’t up to date with which corner kit is for the correct ring unit. Had to contact Ring and they sent me the correct corner kits. Ring unit is sensitive to not only people but passing by cars and trucks. Always know what’s happening, and the live view is great. Works well with Android and iPhone. You’ll notice on 2nd. picture the holes don’t match up between the Ring & the adapters. The only reason I gave a 4 Rating was because of the wrong info. for the corner adapters. It was a dark and stormy night…when Alexa announced that there was a motion at my front door. I quickly shifted gears on my phone app to see what was going on, but I saw nothing. Those were the old days, when I felt that there was nothing out there for me to see. I admit that I had a very narrow perspective when it came to the going’s on in the world out there, but it mattered not, as I just could not be bothered with that which escaped my field of view, but that night…that dark and stormy night, left an imprint in my mind on what could have been there. Still, everything in my peripheral mattered not because I couldn’t do anything about it. Then one day, I strolled across an awkward misshapen object, except – it wasn’t misshapen. It’s form had purpose and direction, and it seemed to beacon me by teasing my curiosity with it’s odd shape. It was this “Corner Kit” for my Ring Doorbell. Oh what a vixen this object of my desire was, for even her price seamed too low for me to refuse. Eventually, I could no longer resist the urge to contain my vices and placed this tempestuous object of my desire into my shopping cart and we whisked away into the internet cloud of purchases. It wasn’t long before I could witness the physical black beauty before my very eyes. I quickly removed it from it’s package, and the only thing that I can say, that It was an absolute sight to behold. The square angles appealed greatly to my geometric OCD, yet the wedge off-center angle repulsed me. It was nothing short of an amalgamated mess of inappropriate wonder. I carefully and methodically installed the new misshapen wonder to my perfectly square Ring Video Doorbell, and I was amazed at the new perspectives it had given me to the outside world. Before, my narrow vision was blocked by a brick wall, but now that wall was pushed away and I can see so much more of the world out there, and now I understand what is really out there on dark and stormy nights. If you ever feel stuck to a corner, take on a new angle, and choose to not fear that which you fail to perceive. Because of my narrow entranceway and thin brickmoulding around the front door, most of my camera view consisted of a half screen of brickwall. Anyone standing at the door was in the extreme left part of the camera’s frame. Mounting just one of the three angled blocks aimed the camera perfectly. Easy-Peasy. Great Item!Read more

It’s easy to install and made with good materials. An option for the Ring doorbell I bought but included with the more expensive models. It comes with 3 wedges, I needed only one. A few weeks ago, I thought this product wasn’t compatible with the Ring doorbell 2nd generation, since the product looked different from the picture. However, now I found a way. You need to put the mount over the concave side to put the nails in. If one side doesn’t look right, flip it over. :)Read more

Ours is mounted on door surround, replacing original doorbell push. Not a lot of room. Easy to install. Works fine for us. Depending on your situation, if you need a more acute camera angle to capture visitors you will need additional wedges.Read more
