I have tried other foam cushions before, but this one beats them all. I own a Honda CRV, and as many of us CRV owners can attest, their drivers seat seat plainly sucks. Its super uncomfortable and is really a “thing” among CRV owners. Making matters worse, for me, I have fractured my tail bone multiple times throughout the years, and suffer from pain and muscle spasms when sitting for more than a couple of hours. This seat cushion is a life saver. It is made from a very thick slab of contoured memory foam and it gives me support exactly where it needs to be. I drove yesterday for 6 hours without even the slightest amount of pain or discomfort. The pics don’t do this cushion justice. It is thicker than how it appears in the pics. I’ve tried several coccyx seat cushions over the years. I have a dislocated coccyx from a car accident and this one is by far the most comfortable. It’s not rock hard like some, it doesn’t immediately flatten like others. I don’t feel like I’m falling off my chair like some gel cushions. This one is JUST RIGHT! The best seat cushion I’ve tried. I desperately needed this cushion to work because due to some prior injuries driving is quite painful. While the cushion works well to alleviate tailbone discomfort, it is so thick at the end where your thighs are that it is a little bit uncomfortable to drive with. The thing that brought it down to two stars though was that after using it for a couple of months it stained the light gray leather in my new car.Read more

I have no idea about the veracity of the claim that the foam stems from bamboo, but whatever the source, it works! The bump in front is not intrusive. The memory foam is thick enough, and soft enough to give support and comfort. I like the cover which is very soft to the touch on the top and it has a rubbery type of material on the bottom that prevents it from sliding around in the chair. This is the best driving pillow I’ve ever owned. I was having all kinds of trouble with my piriformis muscle, knees and right leg, along with low back issues — this pillow has adjusted my driving position and relieved the pressure points so I’m comfortable driving again. I just can’t recommend this enough, with one caveat. If you are tall (I am not) this pillow will give about a 1” height boost. If the roof of your vehicle is aggressively low, you might find headroom clearance diminished, so take that into account. It’s not a problem for me, but it may be for some.
